@@opencurtin I know right? And until bout five years ago my people were recognized as having been enslaved. Now these American wokists have rewritten history to say it never happened. Watched this and listened to this while working around the house and grocery shopping etc. Like having a group of friends with you while doing housework. It makes it so much more enjoyable !
2:36:00 Biggest piece of advice I have is be available and approachable. What I mean is don't misinterpret the man needing to make the first move as meaning that you can't ever initiate conversation. You even see this on Catholic "dating" sites where women won't send the first message (the equivalent of saying "Hi" in the vestibule after Mass) because it's not "traditional." Also, don't run to your car right after Mass and expect a guy you've had you eye on to ever make a move. Hang out in the vestibule/parking lot/etc. stop in to the coffee hour.
Loved this conversation! I found your channel a few month ago and and I love it. I’m a young adult and I don’t have many people in my life to have conversations with about the faith, so I feel like when I listen to your conversations, it helps me grow in my relationship with our Lord. I’ve been listening to little bits of your show in the morning while I get ready for work. Your show has really helped bring me closer to God and has encouraged me to get to know my faith better. Keep up the good work and may God bless you!
I’m halfway through this interview so far - I love it when Seamus comes on! I especially enjoyed when Seamus gave advice to the people who want to believe in Christ and his Church but are struggling. I want to convert to Catholicism, but I lack a full understanding/belief in Christ. I keep questioning both myself and God, yet I can see all the goodness of his Church and want to believe in Him and his Church. Please pray for me.

As far as a conservative Catholic woman letting a man know that she likes him… find out what one of his favorite foods is and bring it to him, desserts are easy to transport so maybe cookies or brownies at first. To be clear, this will work with just about ANY man, not just a conservative Catholic. So thank you.
@Matt Fradd…I’ve tried contacting you I am STRUGGLING so hard with my conversion. As Christians, we are called to rejoice but also, we know we are on a battlefield day in and day out while we are here. Therefore, our love for Christ expresses itself through respect, reverence and honour. Just as people would their king. He is our King of Kings and we are called to fight for His kingdom. This looks different each day. It looks like spiritual discipline, it looks like healing our own hearts through and with Christ, so we can be strong, it looks like showing up in our vocations and our relationships. To base our relationship with Him on good feelings is dangerous and automatically fatal. He is our refuge, in which He restores our hope and joy, He blesses us with these deep, sincere emotions, but it doesn’t always look like we imagine it in our finite, fleshly minds. It also is a process in getting to those moments because He is continually strengthening and refining us, which, is very challenging.
"they will repeat 'love your nieghbor' but they won't repeat 'love the lord your God with all your heart soul and mind'" this has become super obvious to me. I keep seeing people say things like "you cannot hold to the traditional interpretation, because it violates the great commandment, whicxh is to love your neighbor" and I keep just thinking, you forgot an important part of that.
When I hear men talking about "domination in the marriage", or "women have to submit to their husbands", but don't add that the man has to submit to his wife, it sounds like they are searching for a doormat. I always like how Matt Frad talks about marriage and how to be in a marriage, his words are full of wisdom.
@@namapalsu2364 I quoted Matt on this, he told that a bunch of times in few of the podcasts, idk if he is quoting the bible, or its his opinion, but I agree with it 100%, a women is not a doormat, she is her equel parter, (not talking equel as I spend with my kid 2 h, now you should do the same, or I wash half of the dishes and now you do the other half, no), the same way in an argument, if we are talking that doesn't mean that the man is always right. I think both the wife and the husband has to put effort in the marriage to make it work, that is what submit to each other means. One side submissions for me sounds like the man does what ever, he is always right etc and the women is a doormat.
@@tiesiai_per_aplinkui Submit is such that when there's a clash, the one who ought to submit, must yield. Any other definition would be a perversion of the original meaning (like gay "marriage"). It sucks. Heck, even the husband must also submit to his authorities (plural, cause their many. Priests, bishops, police, boss etc) per what's written in the bible. So, it sucks, sucks, sucks. But what are you gonna do? It's the word of eternal life (John 6:68).
@@namapalsu2364 basically the whole thing of ephesia s 5:22-33, so the line of the submission of the wife isn't the whole picture, which most chirstian men quote.
@@tiesiai_per_aplinkui Of course it's not the whole picture. But it is one of the picture. So it can not be erase. Even by bringing up Eph 5:25-29 won't make Eph 5:22-24 disappear. Both are also stand for themselves, such that two wrongs don't make a right. Meaning, if the wife does not submit, doesn't make Eph 5:25-29 ceases from binding. And if the husband does not love his wife etc, that also doesn't make Eph 5:22-24 ceases to be binding. Suck to modern ears. But that's just the way it is. And it's cooler to go against the established mindset.
Rumble is a joke and I am assuming Seamus saying they don't have a plethora of bugs was also. I've been watching him, crowder, and rekeita on there for a couple months now and have yet to make it through one entire video without it pausing to load every 2 seconds or just stopping and restarting or just stop working all together.
Oh my goodness. This is better than Rogan. Better than Michael Knowles. Better than Michael Malice. Better than Timcast. I love listening to all these guys but Matt Fradd''s podcast is sooo interesting. Very stimulating and satisfying. Seamus had me hanging on every word.
So this is TMI, but I got up to use the restroom whilst listening, and OF COURSE you guys start praying right as I begin. And you were so fast I didn't get a chance to stop it in time. One of the many reasons to be glad we serve a reasonable and gracious God 😂
Im ao glad you include so many timestamps, as youtube keeps restarting the video... Shamus is the only reason im watching Timcast right now, wish he did more podcasts!
There's a lot I would like to say about this stream, but given it's over five hours, I'm only going to comment the thing that popped into my head around the three hour mark. Seamus was talking about critics and comedy, and he mentioned how he dislikes when people say they only like him when he goes after people they dislike. That's honestly what I love about both Seamus and the Babylon Bee. Both go after the left but both are also willing to make fun of the right or people they like when they do something stupid. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed that comment of his and wish he or Matt would've mentioned BB in that part of the chat.
I found it very interesting that Seamus used to think before that if he doesn’t manage to get to confession before he dies, Jesus would know his intentions and his heart and that he would be forgiven. That’s my view too and so it was very interesting to hear that he learned that it’s not given or guaranteed & since then changed his attitude. I know it’s a personal story but it would be so interesting to hear more about it. Very valid point that made me think about it all.
"Could I ask an AI to produce a conversation between Matt and Seamus?" Of course, but you would only get a rehash of what they'd talked about before. Imagine if every Jordan Peterson video you ever watched was 100% a rehash of his psychology lectures. (Instead of 20-40%.)
I waited to listen to this because 5 hours seemed daunting but, man! What an awesome podcast. I would love to be able to sit around and have these conversations so much value to be gained from talking about faith in this way.
I just finished the stream. Much pausing to do things like pick up kids and talk to people. "Stream started 8 hours ago" and there were still like 24 people in the live chat. 😂

In your face George! Took me 3 days but I did watch this all the way through lol
On Day 3 here too. Almost done!
After watching throughout the course of 3 days in parts, I've completed listening to this episode
Are there achievements on TH-cam yet? I watched the whole episode.
"they will repeat 'love your nieghbor' but they won't repeat 'love the lord your God with all your heart soul and mind'"
this has become super obvious to me. I keep seeing people say things like "you cannot hold to the traditional interpretation, because it violates the great commandment, whicxh is to love your neighbor"
and I keep just thinking, you forgot an important part of that.
George Farmer 6 hour extravaganza, I'm here for it!
I need a month to finish this, based on the average time it takes for me to finish the 1-2 hours of PWA episodes but I love every bit of it! 😁
In your face George!!
I watched start to finish while gardening!! Loved it!!
I LOVE long form content so keep it up❤
When I hear men talking about "domination in the marriage", or "women have to submit to their husbands", but don't add that the man has to submit to his wife, it sounds like they are searching for a doormat. I always like how Matt Frad talks about marriage and how to be in a marriage, his words are full of wisdom.
Man has to submit to his wife? I remember no such bible verse.
As a truck driver with time to kill thanks for this video 😂
"i doubt anyone has listened to this whole thing." Well, in your face George. Now time for you to move house lol
That beginning was one of the funniest intros
That pfp lool
I found it very interesting that Seamus used to think before that if he doesn’t manage to get to confession before he dies, Jesus would know his intentions and his heart and that he would be forgiven. That’s my view too and so it was very interesting to hear that he learned that it’s not given or guaranteed & since then changed his attitude. I know it’s a personal story but it would be so interesting to hear more about it. Very valid point that made me think about it all.
In your face, George!
So excited to watch this!
I freaking love Canticle for Leibowitz! That was one of the books that made me look into Catholicism.
"Could I ask an AI to produce a conversation between Matt and Seamus?"
Of course, but you would only get a rehash of what they'd talked about before. Imagine if every Jordan Peterson video you ever watched was 100% a rehash of his psychology lectures. (Instead of 20-40%.)
Quantum physics, particle entanglement... And they have trouble with the Eucharist.
I had never heard of this Nefarius film. I looked it up and the critics on Rotten Tomatoes have given it a 33% so I bet it's really good.
@3:28:40 thank you for reading and enjoying my short story. Please invite me to the show
I watched you for four hours, had a lovely time! God bless you, let's see if I'll watch this one whole as well!
I waited to listen to this because 5 hours seemed daunting but, man! What an awesome podcast. I would love to be able to sit around and have these conversations so much value to be gained from talking about faith in this way.
IN YOUR FACE GEORGE!
"In your face, George!" 😆
Boil 'em; mash 'em; stick 'em in a stew
I can verify I watched/listened to this entire thing! Very good to clean your room to! In your face George!
Oh my goodness, I would absolutely love to have a conversation with Jimmy Akin like that!!
I just finished the stream. Much pausing to do things like pick up kids and talk to people. "Stream started 8 hours ago" and there were still like 24 people in the live chat. 😂
