    One of the loudest machines ever produced by man after space rockets and intercontinental missiles. Louder than a B-1 bomber in full afterburner.

    Wow, the hammer is very big, friend, this is the first time I have seen a hammer this big, while I am an earth nail technician too.

    I am a female pilebuck apprentice local 196 in Oregon. I've only used a couple small ICE hammers and the rest were from APE. In my opinion I thought the APE equipment, and customer service during calls, was much better. I love driving pile and can only imagine the fun running this hammer would be. That thing is a monster and hope one day I may find myself telling a new apprentice an old story about the biggest and badest hammer I ever drove pile with. Totally friggin AWESOME! I am wondering though if the monitors they attach o check for plumb etc, would be considered the blow count or if they still do count with soapstone, 4' level and tick marks on the pile. Saw guys on the ropes but not blow count. Thanks for the video. Sharing with some frineds.

    We are lookin for a video of about 1.5 - 2 hours of the slow steady rhythm sounds of a pile driver.....to us nothing is more soothing or relaxing that that sound at about 6 - 8 blocks away. Any chance of that happenin? Thanks

    Diesel fuel is ignited by the high air presure in the cylinder. The explosive is a chemical reaction start by the shock wave of the bullet hitting the metal container. They are in no way similar.

    if the head of the hammer is very visible,you can tell that the soil underneath is very hard because the displacement or height is very big.the steel pipe piles that were driven are very big.i wonder what is the design bearing capacity of the piles.

    They go back and either drill out or hammer grab the soil, a hammer grab is just a big claw on the end of a crane line. Is most circumstances they will then fill with rebar cages and concrete.

    Have you ever had the pile driver equivalent of a runaway diesel engine? If so, how is it stopped?

    This giant crane and giant pipe earth nails are really awesome, in my entire life I have only ever done erection of pipes with a diameter of 100 cm to a depth of 70 meters.

    If it is a Diesel Pile Hammer engines, so this is more like a 2 Stroke Diesel Engine rather than 4 Stroke Diesel Engine isn't? What type of fuel to ruins that engines? A Regular Diesel Fuel like a Diesel Fuel for Diesel Locomotive, Truks, Cars, Generator for the buildings like Hotels, Office, or some kind of that?

    • @jhomrich89
      @jhomrich89 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's normal diesel fuel. it works basically like a giant car piston nothing too special about it

    Wrong its combustion not an explosion. These a two very different things.

    • @ph11p3540
      @ph11p3540 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it produces internalized shock waves then yes it's classed as an explosion. Internal combustion engines rely on a shock front to complete the combustion therefore they are explosions. This hammer is no different.

    Tanerite and diesel have. Nothing in common
