Great job on your conversion. Having parents supporting your venture of solo travel is such a blessing! If you come thru central Florida, you're welcome here. I'll share our contact info with your mom. Enjoy your many adventures to come!
Very cool. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while now too. Been very nostalgic for the FTF days recently, we didn't know how good we had it back then. I wish you the best of luck on your travels.
Hi Dominic, 0:24 Canadian neibor here. With a relatively small battery system, you may find that using the 120 volt "hotplate" will be hard on the available power. I would suggest getting a small single butane stove for $30 to help make the power go farther . The 120 "plate" could be used inside the car and the butane stove used outside like on a picnic table. Nice little car and fantastic on fuel mileage. We have a 1989 Dodge b250 van with a Roadtrek class b conversion package. It weights 7000 lbs and gets around 15 miles per Canadian gallon. Yes it uses more gas but has a lot more interior room. Have a nice day. Tom in Canada in the Maritimes at the NB-NS border.
Thank you for watching! That van sounds super cool! And yes I did realize rather quickly that the hot plate consumes a ton of power! I ended up not using it very much as it would cost about 20% of my battery to just boil water! Thank you for the idea of the single burner, I hadn’t thought of that one yet!
Are you going to secure the fridge and drawers in the back? I don't want you to get seriously injured in an accident. Great build. See you on the road!
Sweet! I love my spark! Super fun car and gets amazing gas mileage! Super versatile too, definitely not the best as far as car camping goes but it’s absolutely doable!
The reason why the bed platform squeaks is because it's rubbing against the plastics molding of the car. Use a router to trim/round off the edges. Drill 1/8" holes in a random pattern to reduce weight and moisture/mold build up underneath the mattress. Glue some grey office carpet underneath the bottom as well as the top of the platform.
Bro I slept in my 2015 spark for 7 months while I managed a company I bought in a different city during covid... northern ontario winters. -20C sleeping bag and I was in my boxers at night. those were funny times
One thing I wish that didn’t happened to me was growing up too fast. Now wish I couldnve done this 10-15 years ago when I was just becoming a young adult. Have fun and take lots of pictures.
Hi, I love your freedom car so much! 😍 That’s exactly what I want. But may I ask, is it illegal to remove car seats, especially considering safety and compliance issues?
question...the passenger seat will not delpoy the airbags? I am doing the same as you are doing..same car...but I am worried about the airbags if I removed the passenger seat ...
Woo. Love my Spark. 2020!! I am speechlesd. I just google and here you are. Going to NC fo hurricane helene relief work. How do I do this like tmr. ??? Leaving Friday am. Will be sleeping in car once I get to Charlott NC,.Can I take out back seats only? I am a girly girl but could do if I had tools. Videos al look good but will need to put back together. Only thing I find annoying about the spark is back seats dont fold down flat so cant put the hatch inside flat? Any suggestions?
Impressive! Looking forward to your next video. We're praying for you!

did u run into any problems driving with no passenger seat ? did u have a seat belt chime or airbag light at all ?
Any problems with removing front seat? I have a 2022 spark i wanna do it also but the airbags and seat belt electrical stuff go crazy with seat gone?
I have a 2016 spark. This video was perfect. Had to subscribe 👍🏾
I love my Spark! It's been super reliable and can be a lot of fun to ride on mountain backroads!
2015 spark camper. Love what you did with it. Simple and effective
Awesome job!

Like ur simplicity... Have a smaller car... I dream abt it being a camper... God bless u
Thank you! I had a ton of fun turning my car into a camper in preparation for my cross country trip! God bless you as well!
Wait, why park between both cars to then work on the car lol...
Nice work on the build.
One more thing... concerned about your airbang on on passenger side. Are they still inplace?

I would make the section behind the drivers seat removable,as worst case scenario and you have a rear end shunt that would will injure ur lower spine.
