Really enjoy your content. In the 1960's we crossed a large framed Hereford bull on Simmentaler heifers, then crossed them with an Akrikander bull (local breed for drought and tick resistance), and fibally back to Simmentaler Bull for that huge frame and MEAT. Great market weights straight off the natural veld.
Welcome back Sir .. absolutely beautiful sharing adventure documentary updated resume countryside content video .. keep it up Sir .. Merci beaucoup Monsieur
Another great update on your farm and herd, congrats on the new bulls, seems like they are really ready to mate, lol. Again love how despite the herd getting out they never seem to run off to far and once they see you they come running. Keep up the fantastic job you are doing, the updates that you and other people in the farm and ranch lifestyles help everyone understand what it is like to do this.
Well now you are getting quite the expansion, the two new bulls looking good, hope they serve well. So happy for you, wishing you success, Stay well, love you, bless you.Hugs
If you plan on feeding out a couple of animals, I suggest using a Wagyu bull. I have a good demand for the Calves I raise. The meat is juicy, delicious and tender. In one cross (F1) you can have a PRIME PRODUCT.
I am glad to hear that most of your cows have calved out already. Maybe it will be a good thing that you sold the stocker cattle. I will say that you might want to watch your heifer bottle calves, it’s not uncommon for a heifer that young to get bred. I hope the bulls treat you good.
Yeah, I’ve got my eye on the heifer calves. They will actually be getting shipped soon. So far I think they are too small to cycle but I know there is always a chance.
Anything with any ear gets docked heavily at my sale barn. If your in the “deep” south, I could see a guy having some success with eared cattle. But all the packers and feedlots want black hided cattle that will Finish out around 1500 pounds. Just the way it is unfortunately.
Honestly I don't no how'd you have the grass or hay right now to expand your heard, we are having to sell some cows out of our heard right now cause we are currently out of feed and hay is just out of the budget and I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation.
Normally I would not have room for more but I specifically under stocked the rental farm knowing I’d be keeping some heifers back or buying more fall calving cows. I’ve got about 40 acres of summer perennials that have not been grazed yet. After selling the Holstein cross steers, I’d have about 3 acres per cow over there. We have been blessed with good rain so far this year so that has helped a lot. Hopefully the year starts looking better for y’all!
I’ll probably run a low birthweight beefmaster bull on the heifers. Eared cattle don’t sell very well around here but beefmasters have just enough ear to make them heat tolerant but not too much to get them docked at the sale barn.
My current microphone is having issues. It will randomly cut out so a lot of footage was cut from the last couple videos. A new one is ordered so hopefully that will fix the issue!

Your herd is looking good!
Glad to see yuor herd growing and doing well. Great video. Thanks.
Thanks 😊
Hello cattle look great. Enjoy your videos as allways. Have a great day.
Nice choice in bulls
I’m hoping I like their calves!
I live here but I'm from a tropical country, so I like Brahman type cattle
That's a good looking herd 👍
Thanks!

Isaac u are going to have to farm full time with the number of cattle u now own
I wish, but I don’t think that would be a possibility yet.
Nice video, the herd is looking good! Finally got some much needed rain here in west TN, hoping the rain sticks around this year!
Thanks! Glad you got some rain out there. We have been pretty blessed with some rain this year as well.
so wonderful beautiful video friend Isaac i love it so much see so nice
Thank you very much
Hope u have better luck than I did with crazy beefmaster Brahman wild calves not all but some
Them low lines are good looking lil girls!😊
They are short and stocky! Hopefully they develop well on grass then I can see how they do as cows!
It's not an easy endeavor being a farmer, no matter where your at. Love from Colorado, I hear black Angus tend to be a little ornery.
I suppose the pigs are coming!! I'm just kidding. I love your videos!! Peace from SW Florida 😂😂!!!
Interested to see the calves that the lowlines produce. Smaller but more per acre
I’m interested to see how they do as well!

Excellent and nicely informational!
We have about the same genetic base!!
It’s a great cross! I’ve been very pleased with them. Hopefully I’ll like the beefmaster cross calves out of them too.
5:44 that silo kinda has a lean to it
Hopefully that was just the video lol. Don’t want it falling over anytime soon
U should get some brahmer cross heifers! Raise excellent calves !

@@robertensign8786 yea i should’ve thought of that and yea im in Mississippi so everyone loves brahmer crosses
So are you thinking the mini bull experiment doesn't worth?
Is ur silo leaning or is my head on crooked

How many animals do u have
first to commnent 😬😬😬 love your videos bro
Are you in oklahoma
Or run a brahman bull on the heifers when they are breeding age

@@FarmandHammer makes sense
👍👍❤🐂
You need a better microphone or you need to adjust the one you have.
I believe the background noise you hear are the calves eating at the bunks.

@@jamizimmerman8501 I am talking about not being able to hear him his microphone cuts out or is very low.
