Oh my goodness! I think you nailed my problem! I have paintings I haven’t finished because it was in ugly stage too long! Until you said that I wasn’t really sure why I abandoned them!!! I’m signing up with you for sure April 1!!!
Ah yay =). So pleased the video helped. I used to do the same. I'd never finish any wildlife paintings. So now I work this way and always make a rule that I dont start something else until my current piece is finished seems to work well.
I use Liquitex and they do a heavy body option to. The heavy body paints are much thicker and the heavy body colours I have (I've had to buy some when the basics colours were out of stock) do work the same as long as I thin them down with water a little more. Being their thicker they would just need to be either watered down more or using a glazing medium and then you can use them in the same way. I've never had a problem with them =)

If I only have heavy body golden acrylic paint will I still be able to produce glazes?
