Vic Roads came out with a learner rider book back in 1981. I use and still use as it’s a great resource, Motorcycle Roadcraft: The Police Rider's Handbook
I feel your pain Paul, when dealing with TAC, here in the NT our equivalent MAC {Motor Accident Commission} has a nice kicker if you are involved in an accident if you are under 15 and over 65 you dont qualify for any loss of income payments {average salary??} while you are off work ....... so what that says is that if you are injured and under 15 you will have no income benefits at any time of your life moving forward,,, bad luck and even if you are working at over 65, tough luck...... my bike rego is $960 pa with the MAC {CTP compensation } component of $894, let alone the CTP cost for the 2 other vehicles i own as well {even the bike trailer has a $78 CTP cost, they are screwing us all mate,,.....{my wife was treated exactly the same after her bike accident in 2017 re compo and rehab, reckoned it aged her nearly 10 years with the injuries still not fully recovered from}
Yes mate, it’s a disgrace, we all pay multiple regos and then when it comes time to get looked after it’s a no show, yet there’s leaches rorting the system left right and centre and they get away with it
I use my high beam during the day and keep my driving lights on at all times plus ive found light coloured gloves are good at conveying your finger/hand gestures to an offending munter. Love the content fellas
Ha Ha Love the use of light coloured gloves, very funny. I agree, lights on during the day is a great way to be seen, high beam even better. Thanks for contributing and for simply watching. We appreciate it.
I have a motion activated, battery powered, stip light in the top box of my bike and it is battery powered and been going for years. cheap as chips and lights it all up at night. available from car shops and aldi ikea etc
Both pre and after sales service from Nate and Hoglights are two of the reasons we have no hesitation in recommending the brand. It is second to none. Very pleased to hear your experience has been a good one.
