Another great video lads. Got to say I would definitely need an increase in my state pension to buy one of those new Harleys. Interesting to learn that you have a Postie bike meet up over there. First time I had ever heard of them was when a guy called Nathan Millward rode one back home to the UK. He's since gone on to being a motorcycle journalist. Great little bikes and along with Honda Cubs you can ride around the world. Enjoy NZ.

I agree about the LAMS bike . I don't understand when they already build the Nightster 975 cc . why can't they reduce it down to 660cc and take off the VVT and some of tech to reduce the price . would sell well
@hogscogsandtwoaussieflogs so true . They could set it up like the Yamaha R7 with a restricter that you could remove later on . I now heaps of guys ride R7 without me restricter and race them for years later very fast bike .
Seems to me software has never been Harley's strong point . Not only are bikes WAY too expensive even here in the States ( 121 CVO Streetglide $60,000🤔😵💫😵) NO one's buying them and when a CVO used to be a rarity my Stealership has 4 of them sitting around. Also issues with the software on brand new bikes ! There will always be people with money or have to have the latest and greatest but I find most of the Bikers my age ( 65 ) are keeping the older classics that we can still work on . Just like Webbie just said you have to have $$$$$$$ of specialized equipment these days so your out of luck Diagnosing any kind of problems. As for the new harleys the new sharkskin color is nice and in a brainstorm harley now charge extra for black paint how much coin have they missed out on over the decades.
These are touring motorcycles, not sport bikes. The front guard is about as useless as tits on a bull, don't like the saddle bags, prefer the stretched look. Sure have a few inspired motorcycles from the bagger racing, but make a touring motorcycle a touring motorcycle. And your correct, make a LAMS motorcycle to actually look like a cruiser/ touring motorcycle, you'll get more sales.
I tend to agree Aaron. If I want a Sports bike that corners on rails and stops on a coin I’ll buy a Metric bike. But it’s all horses for courses and plenty seem to love them. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The 500 is not s copy of a Buell its made by the same Chinese company that makes the Benelli, which you can buy for $9390 ride away and the Harley is $11,495 a lot extra just for a tank badge🤣🤣
Yeh Jon meant to say Benelli, was a slip of the tongue. I agree with your assessment, and would question why anyone would pay that much for their first bike which they will obviously upload once off LAMS restrictions. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. 👍
Perhaps like the release video suggested, Harley ownership is about more than the bike. Like your videos, they convey a sense of adventure and camaraderie that you don’t get on any other brand, regardless of how cheap they are.

That would definitely work in our eyes mate. But me, I recommend a cheap second hand bike for Learners, it’s only for a year why invest so much?
