Air New Zealand NZ5103 : Flying from Auckland to Palmerston North

The After Season has arrived! I'm travelling to Palmerston North aboard Air New Zealand on their 9 months old ATR 72-600, ZK-MZD.
It was an early morning start as we got to the Domestic Terminal of Auckland Airport. Checking in and getting our boarding passes was no hassle. Shortly after, we got some breakfast and waited for the boarding call. On the apron, as we walked, we saw a lot of activity on the airside. We then boarded through Gate 43 and I settled in Seat 4D. After a brief welcome onboard and an explanation of the safety procedures, we taxied away from the gate and departed towards Palmy. With the clear, blue, sunny sky, I got some great views from above. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there was no IFE or refreshments service onboard, which was fine as it was a short flight. Soon after, we eventually descended and landed into Palmy and parked at Gate 3. I was really excited as a few hours upon arriving, I would be flying to the skies again and accomplish my dream of flying a plane. Liked your flight into Palmerston North. When I used my flight simulator I would do this flight in my Air New Zealand ATR 72 and make sure passengers got a view of Mt Ruapehu on route. I would then turn left over the Wairarapa, establish on the localizer and begin the approach on to runway 25 over the Taurarua Mountains . Since there was no DME ILS approach this was an exciting endeavour, but I can say I brought the ATR 72 safely 25 out of the 26 times I attempted it. Great videos you do. I have some flight simulator videos done by me of flying all over NZ including west bound landing at Milford, awkward Wellington landings in B737 and A320 etc etc etc If you would like to see any of this check me out and they are yours free.
