Oooh. I really love your tags. I'm thinking of whether to buy those glazes or not. How do they differ from other embossing powders or are they completely different? Thank you.
Thank you! I think the biggest difference is they are more transparent than traditional embossing powders. They create a glaze. But if you emboss over the same color ink it becomes much less see through. I'm not a big embosser, but I do really enjoy these!
Like the method you use. I was wondering about that new glaze from Tim and was wondering if it would be a good purchase. Have you tried glazes on anything else?
No, not yet. I think my next thing is to try them over his paper dolls and some of his little metal tag things. What were you thinking about using them for?
@@bacreative9146 I've never use embossing powers or glazes before and I saw what Tim Holtz had done in the Creativation video and it pique my interest that I would consider purchasing some. I just never did. But if I were, I would want to incorporate them into some of my Dina's work, backgrounds, letterings, stuff like that. I'm still new to all of this. Started last year when I was diagnosed with a chronic illness and art journaling is my outlet. :)
@@jayjones9589 I think, based on the little bit I've played around with them, they would make a great addition as a background technique. I really liked how they change the texture on the paper and the whatever is underneath is muted a bit. I"m no expert on embossing, but I think if you were careful you could use them directly on your art journal page.
Omg, love this video. Thank you so much for sharing.
You're welcome, and thank you for watching!
