Ocarina of time has temples of certain elements. But majorasmask has temples that are just plain madness!: giant woodlike maze with toxic water, hot and cold tower, underwater maze, and even going upsidedown!
Such a tall tower they built, one meant to reach the kingdom of heaven. Alas it was all for not, for each of them climbed so high only to fall so far. 'Twas their hubris that delivered their downfall...the stone tower being a grim reminder of their folly.
I know the story you guys speak of, I’ve heard this theory many times, and stone tower definitely seems to be based on that Bible story. But there’s too many differences for us to say the location had the same event befall it. Stone Tower...is fully functional and has living and working guardians. It’s not ruins at all. The location is completed and every room is designed to be traversed as it is. The Garo, and Majora all seem to have a much larger role at the location to scare even the King of Ikana. I think Majora is the Queen of Stone Tower and the tower is where her hexing rituals occurred and where she was sealed. There’s a giant Majora statue in the main hub of the temple. And the Garo are obsessed with making sure they never left a corpse. Perhaps hinting they didn’t want their bodies to be used in the rituals following their deaths. And I say Majora is a she because the eyes of the mask imply they are tits in later phases, and the 2nd phase is called Majora’s reincarnation, implying she once lived as...not a mask and abomination.
@@Kaempfdog Well obviously Majora had to have been a person at some point--why else would Majora have consciousness and a name? Hell, with the whole theme of spirits being trapped inside masks, it perplexes me that people think that Majora is "just a mask" when there's clearly more going on. Other than that, that theory is often said because with the demons-licking-the-Triforce-motif (which is basically shitting on the Golden Three), and that the temple is flipped upside down, along with Majora's statue...it could very well mean that in the past, the people of Ikana or the Garo or whoever resided there and that time scorned the Golden Three and instead worshipped Majora, and the tower was built in contempt as well. The Goddesses themselves could have turned the tower upside down as a response. In their anger, they could have completely abandoned Termina, which is why we only receive mention of the Goddess of Time.
@@popsicIes I personally believe that there was a triforce in Termina, and the wielders were Majora for power, Goddess of Time for wisdom, and Fierce Deity for courage. And each abused their powers in different ways that eventually got the triforce revoked. Fierce Deity for being too obsessed with his job as protector, Goddess of Time gave way too many blessings that people depended on, and Majora just flat out said nah I don’t need to rule the whole kingdom, I reject my gift and I’ll surpass it on my own. But doing so made them fail their divine tasks. The triforce of power is always a ruler, (and the king of Hyrule was likely the original candidate for that triforce) the triforce of wisdom is always a teacher, and the triforce of courage is always a protector. Majora’s Mask is easily 1 of my 2 favorite games to lore analyze. Skyward Sword being the other.
@@Kaempfdog That's interesting! I've always kind of thought as Majora as some sort of god-being as well. I mean, with the ability to pull down the MOON, shatter Great Fairies, and seal away 4 gods, that definitely raises eyebrows. After all, if it were just a mask, then the Goddesses (or GoT) would've destroyed it, right? Like they did (or tried) with the Fused Shadow? They didn't, though, which leads to more questions. The only thing regarding your theory, though, was that the Fierce Deity wasn't a person. According to Nintendo, the FD is the physical embodiment of all the pain the citizens of Termina felt thanks to Majora. That's why he looks so similar to Link--because Link is the one with all the darkness-sealing masks. That's why Majora gives the FD to Link after he plays with the moon kids; all the darkness in Link's masks had then been extracted and culminated into the Fierce Deity's mask. That's also why FD doesn't have a proper name. Though, I am curious as to why the HELL Majora would give a mask like that to someone if it were that powerful.
the way the song speeds up describes my panic as i progress through stone tower because i went v slow and it was the night of the final day when i beat it
so true… so true… I remember my first playthrough of MM when I got to the boss room it was also the night of the final day already and when I finally killed twinmold there were only 4 mins remaining😂so during the whole battle I felt like I was gonna have a heart attack at any time haha
I thought of another thing too in terms of a Scooby-Doo mystery mayhem or night of 100 fights remastered the part where it goes faster could be great for the part where Daphne and the others get possessed in the lab, I know it sounds crazy but if you think about it it would be pretty unique especially considering that like I said that game is full of a lot of puzzles just like the legend of Zelda series so wouldn't be too different in fact I feel like some of the puzzles might have been reminiscent, I am not quite sure as a person who was registered as legally blind so because I haven't been able to track down all the titles in order to see if there are any similarities or not but it wouldn't be too far vegetable idea sure it's a bit crazy and a bit unorthodox but you never know unless you give it a chance :-)
This might sound like a crazy mix-up idea but hear me out, imagine if they took episode 4 of Scooby-Doo mystery mayhem and replaced the music that was playing with this particular remix dude that would be so lost! Especially the faster part would come in handy with the battle pace :-) but then again you won't hear the book track that plays but still it does seem like a pretty unique idea I've been thinking about this for quite a while and then imagine how epic that would have been if they could have done that or if they would have done that! Sadly I don't really see a future for a remaster coming for that game because of the fact that there's only one branch of THQ open now and I'm not really too sure how THQ Nordic would feel about remastering the games that they've helped create. I would send them a contact if I knew their contact info that would be such a unique idea especially since there's a new generation of players now and it would be perfect for a reintroduction same thing with night of 100 freights it would be a great introduction as well I mean I know this is a remix of a legend of Zelda peace but like I said thinking about episode 4 and Scooby-Doo mystery mayhem it would be a great pic considering most of the episode takes place outside and you're solving puzzles with pipes it wouldn't be so different after all :-) either that or they couldn't remastered the original tracks either way would be great with me :-)
i feel like im one of few who likes botws sound track the ambeince suits it and things like the hyrule castle music and the lost woods theme are amazing
The only good scores they have in Botw are the remastered Rito tribe theme and ganons castle theme what Botw mislead me with was that none of the soundtracks sounds or feels as epic or nearly has the same effect as the trailers did if they were to build on those scores then Botw would probably have one of the best soundtracks of all time.
can you do the final battle from wind waker> its one of my favorite themes, also your forest temple theme is my favorite, followed by the nocturne of shadow
The only good scores in Botw are the remastered Rito tribe theme and ganons castle theme, Botw was misleading to me with those amazing soundtracks they had for there official trailers, Nothing else in the game has the same epic feel or excitement compared to them and even compared to previous zelda titles, If only they built on those scores instead of the soft scores Botw would probably have had one of the best soundtracks ever.
Like I said those scores dont compare to those other scores, mudolgas theme just sounds like another rendition of molgeras theme from windwaker which isnt bad but i was hoping for a completely unique soundtrack from Botw thats just my opinion, thats why it was a let down for me in Botw, And not to mention the way they slaughtered Goron cities theme, In general i feel Botw just recycled previous zelda soundtracks and butchered most of them.

OoT had two of those. And I'd say those are pretty themed. Like, VERY themed.

Fantastic remix for one of the most mysterious video game themes ever !
YAASSSSSSSSSS

Yes! Remastered version of the amazing old one!
Your videos are always amazing. It's great knowing I'll hear something special when I see a notification that you posted a new video.
Amazing!
A harmony of B B C A to the main line would sound epic. (the line i'm referring to is the one at 0:11)
Can we get a version of this for when the temple is upside down?
Oh, man, that'd be amazing!
I mean, you could always play it backwards if you want. That is how the original worked, for the most part
Nathan Labate not exactly, it wasn't backwards. It was the same theme with different instruments.
@@betadrive3357 don't think they were serious about that.
My favorite song from Ocarina of Time and then, my favorite from Majora's Mask ? Thanks a lot
Just Majora's Mask, but yes it is the best song in the game ^^
I was talking about the requiem of spirit last month for Ocarina of Time, and then Stone Tower Temple for Majora's Mask x3
