I like the band and I love to see a broad spectrum of opinions, especially with regard to America as viewed from outside our borders.
Punk rock has an amazing and storied history of political thought and activism. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
I will also not tolerate fools like hpblow, being dickheads for the sake of being dickheads.

Yes sir, you are correct. Although, funny story. I am a massive ATDI fan and when they broke up I got so disappointed that I didn't bother following up to what Omar and Cedric went on to do next. And one day I just randomly came across a TMV song, and I couldn't tell if it's Cedric and Omar. Their playing style/sound and Cedric's vocals really transformed. You should really give ATDI a listen, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Now I am anything but a leftist or liberal, I'm a libertarian. BUT, I totally agree with this song. This "World Police" stuff has got to end. It is deteriorating our economy, and isn't helping these countries. If you want it to end, vote Ron Paul in 2012. Thumbs up so people can see this.

Its not that they don't understand that USA isn't uniformed. Its that what your country is doing with its power is not right. One bad deed doesn't deserve another. Just because of 9/11 doesn't mean senseless murder is necesary. Think of all the innocent that have died from all of this, They hit the nail right on the head with this song.

Dude the whole reason why this song is so kickass, is because they were able to converge political references into their lyrics--which are already in itself amazing--and maintain their beliefs as well as influence others. They reveal a lot of the governments flaws that people take lightly or slip under their noses...which by the way...is very important! :)

I get where they are coming from, this video is old, but, it still holds a valid point. And as a citizen of the United States of America I respect opinions. If it were up to me we'd all rock out. I'm not a fucking headless duck sitting over here, the only reason why we are at war is for money. As much as we say we are a "democractic" nation, ha, what am I saying everyone knows America lies.....

@Andyiron777 There's a difference between self-preservation, defending yourself and other people, and retaliation and revenge. We didn't go to war with Hitler to defend the Jews being oppressed and killed, we went to war because we were attacked, and we wanted revenge. We haven't gone to war for a legitimate reason since the Revolution.

Woah, woah, you like their new stuff better?
This song is like my favorite song by them :') They are a bunch of great guys with great ideas.
In my opinion "A Calculated Use of Sound" and "Kezia" are a loooooot better than 'Fortress", but I guess we have our own opinions.
But this song is good! It's fun and serious at the same time without being a boring dragged on song. The chorus itself is very memorable to lots of people, it's catchy. Plus, I love when bands express their ideas in songs.
