Absolutely! I have a lot more to talk about with this park too, numerous groundbreaking and record breaking coasters were built here.

This is a really great video. I was honestly shocked when I scrolled down after watching the video to see that you only had 50 subscribers. This video is higher production quality than most of the big roller coaster channels so I'm sure you will get there very soon if you keep putting out content like this.

And that One Train Operation and Water Park Expansion gag made me burst out laughing back to back

I am one of the few that got to experience Hypersonic XLC in 2003, but I'll look forward to getting on this when I visit some family that lives in the Chicago area.

Amazing video as usual!! My best day with Maxx was “marathoning” it three times in a row for Special Olympics. That launch is just absolutely spectacular! I don’t know about you but I do get quite a bit of hang time at the top of the dog tongue.
Great video, and great review. I found you channel today, and I am already a big fan! This is my home park and I'm old enough to remember when Marriott owned it. I've seen great rides and horrible rides come and go. History is a true test of what a park can do. I'm wider now and can't comfortably fit in most coasters, but seeing your videos help me to relive my youth and when I had a smaller frame. Thank you! The excitement is still the same to see my kids enjoy it and now that my boys are both teenagers, I plan on spending a good part of 2021 there!

A good analogy for these air launch coasters I've heard is "it feels like getting hit by a semi truck".
Or like playing tug of war with a jet plane. Haven't tried either of those two things, but the launch is something you'll never forget. Not to overhype it for anyone, but y'know. It's such a fun launch.

Hey, thank you! The writing for the video has been a bit stuck and incomplete for about a month now, but I still hope to finish it because it had an interesting opening year. I want to make sure the video covers as much as possible and that's a hurdle with what's available out there.

This ride really does need some added theming similar to top thrill Dragster.Even some music in the station would help. When I went to Great America Maxx Force was actually running very reliably. It opened on time all three days and it only went down once or twice.
I'm so glad to hear it's getting better. I saw a recent report of it still needing maintenance in the morning, so I'm relieved that it's not a daily issue.
Also since they've added some more details to the station since my video, I'm not completely giving up on hope that *some* theming is coming.
I rode this ride on the Membership Early Access day on July 3rd, that launch is easily the most forceful one I have ever experienced, Thankfully they were able to muffle the sound of the launch a bit because I was at the park exactly a week before then and it was near ear piercing, especially in the water park or in line for the Whizzer

This happened to me every time I rode Maxxforce, but before the launch, the train would always roll back an inch or two then go forwards a little and this would keep happening for quite a wile until we launched.

@@ZeroCreditsRemaining I'm ok with that there's other channels that have used my clips i'm cool with it, I've had some days where maxx would go down for a couple of hours but I'll tell you when the park closes it doesn't break down and they whip the trains out quick. Gotta clock out and go home quick i guess.
Even though you said you would give it a pass, I find it completely unacceptable that on opening day Maxx Force still looked like a dangerous construction zone. They had unpainted switchback queue guides laying on the ground, and the posts for shade were installed but not painted. I actually saw a lady right in front of me pass out because we waited 2 hours in the direct sun. We had to call for help from the employees. Despite all of that, the coaster is really good though.

The train takes forever to launch because it has to wait till the other train to be parked in the station and have its lap bars open
That would make sense. It does that weird shuffle back and forth for quite a while but most of the time is taken up with what felt like nothing happening.
Fingers crossed they add a single rider entrance in the future.
