I can remember bumping X in 2003 thinking I'd never get to hear another release outside of bars. Almost two decades later it actually happens.
Who else used bump x raided while putting in work or after? Been a fan of X since 04' bein 14 yrs old gang banging this dude was the realest and smartest rapper threw the lyrics and stories but I'm glad he grew up I mean doing 26 yrs shit dude and survive too much respect homie and how he is now more conscious and awoke of life. Also I'm surprised somebody like this guy interviewed him but respect for that cause I haven't seen a legit down to earth interview from X like this cause this guy missed out alot and has so much potential I'm glad he didn't throw that away.

Intelligent, resilient, and transformative, I was listening to Psychoactive, Xorcist, Unforgiven, Nefarious in the late 90s and early 2000s and he helped me get through alot, On that Deuce 5 to Life that last verse especially spoke to me talking bout I'm trying to keep my head up but my load is getting heavy...I'm gonna be 125 years old if I can help it...you gonna see me wit my space boots and my beanie..., that resilience spoke to me then and now, I'm 33 now but back when I was a youngster doing wrong I felt that realness and what he was saying, I had alot of older cats putting the wrong things in my mind, X helped me get through alot, Mama's Pride and Joy, Land of the Lost, and the list goes on and on, seeing X out is surreal, back then seemed like he'd be in forever, so glad to see him out with a smile on his face enjoying life and family, one of the realest and hardest that ever did it, best of luck with everything to the legendary X-Raided!!!!

I bought Xorcist in 1995 and everything about the album blew my 15 year old mind. Hearing X raided speak in depth like this gave me a whole new respect and appreciation for him as a man, and just an enlightened human. Respect! His story is an incredible one.

Man this interview gave me goosebumps for the entire interview. This dude has been my favorite rapper since I was 12 years old. To hear his journey is unbelievable and I feel blessed to be able to hear his growth. I grew as well and learned that the ridiculous behavior I was trapped in was all a plot and plan to keep people who looked like me in a box. I still remember having to buy Murder Dog hoping to read an interview with the X. This is probably the hardest, most talented and yet most sincere rapper most never heard of. Grew up on his music. Unbelievable to even see him free. Go X.

Gotta love the the fact they dropped the interview the same day Tekashi was sentenced. I’m sure most people know but X was sentenced to deuce five to life at the age of 17 and stayed solid regardless of the notoriety he had as a rapper and gang affiliation. Yo I was a kid in middle school when this guy went to prison and he was an absolute legend when he released his tape behind those walls. It's a surreal moment seeing this man where he is at now and he is living proof to never give up.
