We go to the garage sale every Saturday morning my son and I get up and out of the house for 7 o’clock. We have met a lot of nice people garage sales shopping and we have the best time together. It’s my mother and son time !! but it’s the hunt that’s the most fun. You never know what you were going to get and what it is worth love all of your videos. I have learned a lot from you.
My son and I used to garage sale all the time from the time he was little. He loved it as much as me! He learned how to look for a bargain. He's almost 40 years old now. He doesn't do yard sales so much but has traded it for going to thrift stores. We always do that when I visit him.
The "Atlas Shrugged" book was actually a 25th edition (or printing), not a first one. The first edition would only have the 1956 date. With any book, always look for the oldest date . If there any newer dates listed after the oldest one, it's not a first edition.
I just hit two really good estate sales today. They had awesome things and were practically giving things away. I don’t resell buy an thinking of doing it just because I love going to garage sales and estate sales and accumulate too much stuff.
Did you get that mirror with the red flowers? I thought it was beautiful, and if you did and you want to sell it local, I'd buy it depending on what you'd ask for it. I'm just over the state line in Ky, but come to Tenn all of the time. Just let me know. Thanks.
Leave the shades they can be redone, I would say. And I want that mirror, so if you don't want the headache of shipping it, let me know. I'll be in Tenn tmrw until Sunday.
The one house had the chenille robe my mom wanted for Christmas in the 80’s, the Knoxville world’s fair program (1981?), the world book encyclopedias and a Matt Dillion teen mag. Well, I enjoyed revisiting the 70’s/early 80’s.
Another great video! I’d love to see a video showing how you package some of the items you get. I shy away from picking up things that look complicated to ship. Where do you get boxes for things like skateboards and wastebaskets? I’m a scaredy cat and I’m sure I’m passing up good deals as a result.
Homer Laughlin is Fiesta ware. Just for future reference. I didn't know if you knew or not. Great finds though, what are the chances of finding a chennille robe again this Saturday. Yay. Go you. Haha. Thanks for the video. I enjoy watching you score every Saturday.
We are in Northeast Tennessee, Bristol region. We have a reselling group here that meets once weekly. What area are you close to? Hoping you are close enough to join us sometime.
The skateboard couldn't even be pieced out...wheels worn and the trucks are not a great brand. My son was a huge skateboarder and I know a little about them from his days of skateboarding.

🥰🥰 I missed those toddler voices! I love listening to your babies' conversation 💕 My youngest boy turned 11 today 😢😊
I love the sound of kids playing outside. I find it relaxing.

I hope you got the mirror!
@trixie9777 I didn't. I would have loved to, though. I did ask about getting it, but no reply. She may have decided to sell it elsewhere.
