i agree, i have seen some good songs played live like Hunting High And Low , paradise, just to name a few, but they sound way t much diferent than the studio version, some songs i like to listen better in the album, my opinion of course. but this song sounds great live!!!!!! the point is that the album's just composed, but not recorded. Tolkki is getting his rock opera ready, and after its release they'll get together to record and mix the album! So we'll have to be patient
I understand everybody was expecting something similar to the Elements for the last album, fisrt not band should repeat themselfs over and over again, so it was good for Strato to do something new, plus it is very admirable how they overcome the problems they were having including the recording studio itself and still came out with an emotional war (not happy) album.
The song is good, the sound is meddley between all discs, there are parts like, Will my soul ever rest in peace?, other like Playing with fire, other like Eagleheart, the guitar solo is like the first stratotimes, like Twilight Time, Fright Night, and Dreamspece (when Tolkki was vocals), it's a great song, it's peacefully, i hope other songs, were peacefully and obviusly faster, like Forever Free, or Speed Of light

Hi all! I just read in a german metal paper, that they now officially split up! Tolki will continue with his new band REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE. he'll play some strato songs live, though.
Don't get me wrong I had follow Stratovarius since Dreamspace and Episode is by far my favourite album, but believe it or not Elements Pt. 1 is the second, I liked how the lyrics of the song Eternity finally came true in the video of Eagleheart. All their albums are great even the last one that was not as happy as the others and even Intermission.
I had to say that Jens can be replaced.. Antti Ikonen who played keyboards 9 years in Strato before Jens came. Antti wrote songs with Tolkki and he was also great player.
STRATOVARIUS IS BACK!! This is not their best song, but this is a new begining for us after their mediocre last album. Their new brand song is a little a medley of their differents years (Destiny-Infinity-Elements Pt.1) like Rhapsdoy Of Fire with tehir song 'Triumph Or Agony'. A big hope for their upcoming album with return to heavy metal, Jens fucking all, Jorg find her double-pedals, Timo K. is equal at himself, Timo find his great shape and Lauri try to replace Jari!!! I like Sammet's voice

I believe when comparing vocalists who replace another, I try to look at who fits the bands style the best. van halen, van hagar, van who the flank was that extreme dude. the important thing to me is did the band change to fit the vocalist, did the vox improve the band ( la brie of DT ) or did the singer just fit. so ask yourself tolki or kotipelto, and then just shut the hell up and listen to whichever makes you appreciate music the most.
Hmph... I just realized that this song's chorus sounds very much like Forever Free. Just concentrate comparing these two songs and maybe you'll hear what I'm talking about... (So this is why Tolkki described this album to be like Visions)
