Side note! We did not react to Chanyeol's "Black Out" because we couldn't wait and watched it when it dropped 😆 We meant to talk about it in this episode but forgot 😫 As for Jaehyun's "Smoke" and any other recent releases, we either forgot to react to them or watched them on our own! Keep an eye out for our upcoming K!MONTHLY that will feature the releases of August!
Confession I work, clean and cook listening to podcast so the longer the better. I am a multistan with NCT being part of it. I felt so accomplished when I learned all their names to faces. and it was a big hit to my heart to know that the one member who we always defending when SM didn't give him lines and attention he deserved, when he was overshadowed by the other members ( i mean with that many members it is easy to be overshadowed) and we love how he was the oldest member of the group and he was all the other members looked up to him. especially haechan ( R.I.P. sun and moon) but in my opinion this past couple days felt like a break up. When you spent your time supporting someone and you mutually find peace and happiness with them when this happened it felt like a heartbreak. Like you are still going through the symptoms of denial. But as much I don't support him anymore and moved on and side with the victim. I find it funny how someone shows their true colors and everything about them was always off or they never liked him or my favorite he was talent less. Talent less?!?!?!. This man had an amazing vocal range. but because he broke a para social trust he was all of a sudden ugly and talent less. I will never say he was talent less and ugly and cause you could be a banker, a garbage man , a model or an astronaut. it doesn't matter. people who have skeletons in their closet can be amazing at hiding their secrets. and please this is a reminder to not put trust in idols. especially fans who are saying oh my group would never or if so and so did it i would be devastated. first of all it isn't about who can be next or who would never. it is about the victim at the end of the day. protect them. give them support, give them the attention and love.
After reading about Taeil I had a sudden realization that I will only be a fan of a kpop idol or group for their talents ONLY and nothing else. No wonder I dislike watching any group’s “reality show/s” because what they show on camera might not be the same off-cam. I hate how companies promote them like the idols are our friends. They keep baiting people with fancons where fans give gifts, touch or talk to them. Don’t get me started with the videocalls. That’s so weird to me. We don’t know these idols personally please just consume their talent like just buy albums and go to their concerts 😭 Also, I’m sorry but I suddenly imagined JYP dancing that choreo in Sexy in the Air 😭
I would be careful of the misinformation on Taeil's case. A lot of people are convicting him in the court of public opinion based on those X/Twitter posts that haven't been confirmed. The knee-jerk reaction of most fans is understandable, but these are allegations and possible charges. He still has his day in court, and so does the victim.
Well sometimes it's the editing too, like competition shows on mnet (well anything basically on mnet lol) is especially bad with that because they try to make people look bad and they show favoritism to certain ones too, but yeah I hope all my faves are beautiful inside and out but this situation shows me that you really never know what kind of people they are. It's horrible what some people are saying (they basically are saying stuff like "my faves would never do that", "good thing I'm a girl group stan" etc) but the truth is we never really know these idols. And girls can SA etc as well so being gg stan doesn't mean they're exempt from having this happen. They can be complete opposite of what they show on camera. I am not going to let that detour me from liking groups/idols or kpop in general though. Anyway sorry for the long comment
@@kellen5545 well it's confirmed that he did do a sex crime as confirmed by sm plus they handled this totally different from Lucas case (whos case was proven false) so that shows that its serious likely. But yes alot of what people are saying are fake and there's no proof of it. Like this is already serious enough, there's no need to pile on
@peachxtaehyung No, it hasn't been confirmed. 1. He might know or had relations to the victim. 2. He was at the location of the main assault and doesn't have a counter alibi that places him somewhere else at the time. I don't trust SM, and they could've easily overacted with the dismissal.
I don't stan Nct but I of course know Nct and taeil and still to say I was shocked about this is an understatement, I hope he gets sentence he deserves and I am keeping all of his friends, family, band members and fans in my thoughts
Imo the comment about “not idolizing idols/being aware that they’re very different people compared to what we see online” isn’t towards fans of nct who, before this whole news, liked Taeil but it’s targeted more towards the people who even after this disturbing news, are still very much in support of taeil and are creating fake replica accounts of the victim. I do agree that kpop culture is very much idolizing the idol (like it’s literally the main selling point of the genre) and no one should feel like they can’t enjoy idolizing kpop artists because of whats happened howeverrrrr, many people have these unhealthy para social relationships and believe that these idols couldn’t be as bad as what the news is saying despite all these statements/police confirmation.
I think it’s also important to note that a lot of people on TikTok, twitter, etc. are making this whole situation about themselves like yes it sucks that you spent money supporting someone terrible (even though no one could’ve known that he was a terrible person until now) and you have every right to feel betrayed but at the end of the day someone got assaulted and has to live with that every single day for the rest of their lives. It goes beyond just a kpop idol getting kicked out for being a terrible person but being a complete psycho and ruining someone’s life.
Yeah I believe my faves are beautiful inside and out, and some idols truly are what they show online. But we do have to remember you never know what they're doing irl. You can stan an idol if you want but always remember we don't KNOW them
I think Taeil got booked in mid August, but the report was made in June. So I guess he was charged in Aug. At least that’s what the police report said. I’m devastated for the victim. I’m absolutely disappointed 😔
Btw when it comes out could you react to A.C.E new comeback? We are trying to get them their first ever music show win after 7yrs of activity! Music shows wins are very important for their career. Plus the members have made it very clear they want to get a win. Their comeback date isnt announced i believe but its coming soon
Its so sad that people are blaming themselves with this taeil situation like we didnt know so we cant blame ourselves! Also people need to stop with the saying taeil fans should've known like no! How would we have. Also people need to stop accusing nct of knowing it. Like even m worders families etc never knew so its totally possible that they didnt know!
thir is not taeil updated yet..😆 it's clear that SM doing something.. the media and Police literally don't care sexual assault case and more focus on Suga DUI 🤡
They have no reason to update on this as they already did their part to remove him from the group, nor do all details on investigations get posted to the public all the time.

For sure the longer the better, listening to you two make me feel productive and start doing chores 😊
Having dinner while listening to you guys what a treat ❤

Gillit is a uh weird name but I agreed with you guys I’m not calling myself that either
Yeah there's certain fandom names I do not call myself and that make me uncomfortable lol

illit fandom name should be break a leg 🍀
i feel like i can't be excited for any bg comeback until that list drops
There is NO list. That was a completely fake Twitter rumor based on a case in Korea from like 4-6 years ago (approx. 2018-2020 ish).

Maybe stop COMMENTING on Suga's DUI then! You're only feeding into the algorithm.
