I enjoyed this story and the voice of the narrator, which added to the characters and ambiance. This was a lovely story that had my heart aching over the deceit and inevitable heartbreak. I admire that Kaida decided to come clean with Dakota, even though his memory came back as she talked. Her decision to make deliberate and positive change as well as make things right is a good example for everyone. His decision to forgive, though stretching the realm of probability, was sweet.

Not a bad book dragged on a bit for me. I prefer more excitement and drama. Would recommend to anyone who loves hallmark type of movies
