Legend has it that this is actually Tim working in real time; and that all his other videos are actually slowed down, so that we mere mortals can follow along.
@Jeremiah Carmelo @Bryce Franklin Is this some kind of shameless promotion for Flixzone, because Tim isn't on Flixzone and had nothing to do with my comment.
Tim is a great blacksmith
What a peace of Art !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent summary video of your 6 part video build!
Hectic speed Bro! Beautiful knife. A real original.
Love this clean look of it 😍
A really beautiful knife!!
This is one of the most beautiful pieces of cutlery that I have ever seen. Color me *really* impressed.
daaaamn, that's a beautiful knife
Tim . I like the speed up video and you still get the drift how it's done good job .😎
Thank you Tim. This proves just how challenging this build was. The 'previously unseen' footage is a revelation.
Nice job there Tim on the knife.
I especially liked how quick the hand sanding was! Wish it went that fast in real life.
You know its good when you can get the camera that close! Good work Tim
I really love how you used zirconium and titanium. This is awesome
I like your new edit style of video. It kinda reminds me of Gumby, all you have to do now is one of those sliding animations across the screen and it would be super nostalgic! Love the videos!
What a beautiful peace of craftsmanship you did it again TIM well done just awesome.👍🇬🇧🤘🍺
Nice build !
Nice, The knife looks good!
this comment and the subsequent reply are in response to the TH-cam algorithm demanding Likes, and comments. You get both sir!!!
The video reminds me the Charlie Chaplin movie modern times, but the final product takes me to RAMBO Sylvester Stallone. Keep up the good work.😎😎😎😎👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
Very Beautiful 🔪
You're very good at performing such a long workload, with only ten minutes
Amazing build. Enjoyed watching the videos and the time lapse. Great work.
That looks absolutely beautiful
Stunning.
Priceless..
Its a masterpiece.
Tim is such an amazing black smith that he made a titanium blade in 10 minutes. He didn't even have to edit the video.
" It's a hoax, It's a scam, your computer has been hacked " , Making titanium tongs 13:22
@GenerikUser Look at the episode "Making Titanium tongs" at the time stamp 13:22.
@GenerikUser If you watch Timothy Dycks' video called " Making TITANIUM TONGS" at the time stamp 13:22 he says "If i ever do another video called Titanium anything It's a hoax, it's a scam, your computer has been hacked" Well , he did another titanium video.
That was great! Enjoyed watching both the slower version and this condensed 10-min one 👌🏻
That turned out really awesome Tim! Thank you for sharing the build.
Dude frickin' sweeet!
Three days of footage and (probably) and a week of editing (maybe).
Very good!!
When i saw my notification and the thumbnail i really got confused. Im like "10 Minutes, for this knife???!?" But it's sped up so it makes sense now
Also, very nice job! Keep up the nice work, love your videos
Here is the rare speedy gonzales in human form
I thought I saw a puttttyyy cat, I did, I did :)! Couldn't resist the cat thing lol. :)
Lol
Nice try👍
A thing of beauty is a joy for ever - John Keats 🔧😊👍
That came out super slick.
Have you tried cutting anything to see what the edge retention is like?
I'm curious, I've heard it's not great.
Next one 20cv and anodized fittings. 👍
Solid!! 👊
Mr. Tim, next challenge for you: Make a bowie knife with Tungsten.
Obligotory hi hal.
Lol
Watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 with ❤❤❤
I hope there is someone out there to sponsor a "Titanium Anvil"
The Flash has left the chat! ⚡
Respect!
Comment, for no other reason than to make sure TH-cam knows I like what you do.
This video is 10 minutes long when in reality it probably took 10 days of work if not more
World's fastest blacksmith
I would love to know how long that blade stays sharp compared to a damascus knive for example.
Hey Tim, are you guys going to be making any more of your axes to sell? I can't do it this minute but in Feb 2021 would love to buy one for my son. (birthday lol). Also, one other thing, are you going to make hammers for sale anytime in the future, I love the straight claw type and was just curious. :) TY for your videos, the only complaint I have, and it's a big one is, "YOU NEED TO MAKE MORE PLZ" lol, love your videos and your charm, yes I'm a guy but you are very appealing the way you do things and word things, just leave us always wanting more. :) Have a great Christmas and way appreciate all you do. :)
I think I liked the longer multi part version with commentary
View part 1 - 6 for full build with commentary
@@wesandsharondyck4363 Yes, I watched them all. I thought you were looking for input on if you should continue with the condensed or full vidoe. My opinion is, I think I like the multi part series.
This knife demands buffalo leather sheath!
Cool
What did you do with it? Did you sell it, in your collection?
You need to make a tungsten knife!
That would be a heavy one!
What kind of edge retention does it keep
What you spray when sanding?
Is it sharp and does it hold an edge?
What kind of sheath would you have to have for this knife....adamantium?
Wow
Beautiful knife, but I was always under the impression that titanium could not get a razor sharp edge. I guess I thought that it was More likely to be used as a diving knife to be used for stabbing and minimal prying, because of the non corrosive and strong material. I did watch all the parts of his full build video , but I don't remember if it was a mixture of titanium and another type of Steel like nickel or chromium . Anyone know?
Lots of titanium work lately Tim. How are all the cutting tools holding up? (Drill bits, bandsaw blades etc etc)
How much would it cost to have one of these made ?
Just realized this can you make a titanium knife with wood charcoal handle. Probably need to epoxy soak the charcoal wood. Or carbon block for habdle.
Something out of tungsten next?
i REALLY wanna see you make a balisong
Titanium blade?
Have a good giggle.
I knew that you were fast and knew what you are doing, but not this fast. LOL.
**Australian accent*
Now that's a spoon.
I like the idea with the summary but not as much of a fan of speeding it up so much, maybe real speed just cutting too keep the length down.
hi Tim how come this one only took ten minutes and the other one took ten weeks .?HA HA .
ON a sierras note mate as crocodile dunde would say that's a Knife. cheers (:
Can I recommend slower shots and cut out some of the footage. The sounds are off and its more abrasive than if you kept it slower. A mix of the two would be good too, especially if you dub the very fast parts with music.
This is just a summary compilation video. If you want the closer detail shots watch the 6 part video set he posted earlier.
HELLO
Run this in reverse and rerelease it. Please. Please. Please.
I don't want to throw accusations around, but this seems like it might have been sped up. Correct me if I'm wrong
This is him working in real time actually, he just does down for all his videos so we can follow along.
We found out the flash's secret identity
You busted your butt on that build.
Do you have an email address that I can send you a message about a knife I’d like you to build for me. I don’t know if you do that kind of thing but I’d love it if you could. Please let me know and we could talk about it. I was thinking about a take down Bowie knife.
It’s on 100 times speed because it took years to make 😂
This is fine as an abridged high speed preview of the whole project, but I prefer what you normally do. There's no harm in showing some of it speeded up to show a high speed view of the action (three hours of hammering an unidentifiable lump of metal into something new would get a little boring, after all), but the whole lot? Sorry, but it doesn't do anything for me, not enough personality
Ig this is fake
