Lionel 675 is one of the better made Lionel locomotive's. Reliable electric motor,nice Nicole rim drive wheel's,and side gear,with a smoke unit. This is a Post War Lionel train 1947,if I am not mistaken. Runs good on the track,and has good speed,and slow speed.
My Lionel 2025 is a basket case of parts! it’s shell and drive are from 1947 and are very special to me because it was my uncles before me. The rest of the pieces including the driver wheels, lead and trailing wheels, smoker and light are from a 1952 variant😂

I keep getting a short after putting the shell back on the motor. Any advice?
