Last year after the 1st week of the nfl cutting young players to make room for their draft picks the Lions grabbed enough guys to fill their roster. Laporta will be better his rookie year than hockenson is now. Branch will be a stud. Hopefully Cambell ends up being the lb we’ve needed for years. We got a possible future qb in the 3rd that would’ve been a first round pick if he didn’t get injured. Greene reminds me of Marvin Jones. He’s a legit wr and will contribute to this offense. Also we killed it in udfa. I think 3-7 of those guys will make this team. I’m excited for this year. I truly believe we will win the north and meet the eagles for the nfc championship game this year.
Not sure if these guys follow alot of Detroit Lions football but they definitely dont seem like they do. Holmes knocked this draft out of the park! We didnt need to spend a high draft pick on DT. We have Buggs, McNeil and Comitsky who all played very well the 2nd half of the season. We needed to replace Swift and also a day 1 starter at LB. We did both perfectly.
I hope we pick up poona ford. He had a down season last year because Seattle switched to a 3-4. Poona perfectly fits into our 4-3 and would definitely be a positive contributor.
