Thank you very much for your report about Bangladesh election. Let me tell you about something which is not included in this report Most of the election in Bangladesh, so far happened under an interim government But when Sheikh Haseena came to power in 2009, they changed the constitution and held election 2014 and 2018 while they’re still in power. In 2014 there were no vote in 153/300 seats were ruling party were elected as a member of parliament without any single vote. And other remaining seats were distributed among themselves. In 2018, they arrested almost all of the leaders and activist during election time, and the vote happened without any competition where most of the ballot box were filled by ruling party activities before night This time all of the opposition top leaders are under arrest right now and 40 million opposition activities has arrest warrant. Hundreds of thousands are now in jail. That’s how the government is trying to play a staged election this time also Here I am being completely neutral And I was in Bangladesh in 2014 and 18 I saw those in my own eyes
Relax! Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to secure victory again in the 2024 elections. Come visit Bangladesh to witness the ongoing progress and development. The economic challenges are anticipated to be resolved soon. Stay positive and don't worry.

Her age, gender and religion serve her will to play this victim card, specially to the westerners, who don’t understand the viciousness. she’s not what you think she is!” - to me this is the best way to portray her state of mind. And what do you mean by calling BNP 'pro-democratic'? Are they truly democratic? It seems you advocate for BNP, possibly due to the award you received back in 1995-96.

As a result of Sheikh Hasina breaking all her promises regarding the 2014 and 2018 elections, and as per the current constitution, even after the announcement of the election schedule, the current parliament will remain in place until the members of the new parliament are sworn in. In this situation, is it possible for the 2023/24 elections under Sheikh Hasina to be acceptable? Certainly not. Five prerequisites for acceptable elections in Bangladesh: ✴ Non-party government instead of party government ✴ Independent Election Commission, replacing the submissive Election Commission ✴ Removal of factionalists from administration ✴ Removal of factional judges ✴ Deployment of army with magisterial powers during elections. Some are also talking about deploying a United Nations peacekeeping force if the situation is extreme. This critical political juncture of Bangladesh will prove who is in favour of establishing real democracy in this country and which are the enemies of the people against it. The first way to identify the pro-democracy forces is that they will not participate in a flawed election under a party government. These parties will remain in the movement and will welcome any other party fighting for democracy without any dispute or discrimination.

The argument that the west cares about Bangladesh's political stability is unfounded. They only care about their business and benefits. In fact there are supporters of AL amongst the western nations. Their standards of democracy and human rights are not applicable for a country like Bangladesh. BNP, all other parties and people of Bagladesh has to come out of this idea that westerners will save us. A number of western powers have played vital role to bring AL using media manipulation and Army 15 years back. To bring back the demoncracy and a truly elected government, each and every responsible citizen of the country must engage.
