Nemophila rocks. This song is a rarety for them cause all of previous Nemophila original songs are sang mostly in japanese with some english here and there. Nemophila are great no matter the language.

Hazuki's guitar (the one with the cool fretboard inlay) is an Ibanez J-Custom, which is their top of the line. She just just recently acquired it. Saki's guitar (with the sakura inlays on the body) is her own signature model from Killer, the Fascinator "the Empress" model. Killer make really good guitars; that's one in my profile pic!

Nemophila are becoming very popular. They basically started when COVID struck. However they have got through it all and increased their profile by doing covers for their YT channel mixed with original songs. Check out their Maximum the Hormone cover of SHIMI and Nemophila’s RAITEI or OIRAN live at NAON YAON 2021.

I thing a HUGE part of it is that incredible chemistry that made them decide to make what was originally intended to be a one-time project into something permanent is absolutely transmitted to the audience. It's a rare gift, and it's completely addictive.
This song is pure 🔥 doused in adrenaline. Nemophila play a variety of styles and excel at all of them. They are the undisputed queens of cover songs and their originals are even better. I recommend Dissension (mv) or Raitei (mv). For covers: either of their Maximum the Hormone covers are the best
Due to Lovebites absence, I discovered Nemophila, which is the name of a five petalled flower. You were on the mark with 'kick it up a notch?' 😀 Although I would not recommend Revive, as the ideal video for the first look at Nemophila, it is not a bad choice. Thank you for your reaction.
Vocalist Mayu doesn't really speak any English, maybe that threw you a bit for a loop when it comes to the lyrics. But her pronounciation got about 200% better in the last year alone, there's not really anything specific in the Revive lyrics she mispronounces anymore, even the "v" and "l" sounds, which don't exist in Japanese, got pretty solid. The only one in the band who does speak English pretty well is the guitarist with the red hair, Saki. To answer your question: The Japanese in the first chorus is 振り切った裸の夢を (furikitta hadaka no yume wo) - A naked dream that has been swept away/has been shaken off. In the second chorus it's 駆け抜けるリズムと共に (Kake nukeru rizumu totomo ni) - With rushing rhythm/with the rhythm running through.

Weather its original tracks or cover songs there one of the best bands around now .Look into there songs and you will indeed find a variety of sounds .And they have two guitarists on 7 strings and Bass on a 5 string this brings the heavy sound in large doses LOL .Nothing from this band will disappoint.
phew... a few things: yes, you are confused ;) where did you see a second bassist? It was NOT Screamo! Screamo is a (sub)genre of it's own and it's not this. about the subtitles: well, the just showed you what she sings. None of them were translations, so why should the japanese part be?

Luckily, I just started on both bands with the reactions, so I'll be able to catch up on Lovebites while Nemophila keeps on.

I noticed the 5 string bass. Most of the bands I like tend to have that normally. Good for Djent and Bungle sounds
