Manufacturers put the slit on the side because cost-wise, it’s cheaper to produce because of less pieces to sew together and less seams mean it can be scaled to market and sell to many body types.

Your comment about faux leather sometimes smelling like fish reminded me that there are some new types of leathers being developed that are not sourced from cowhides. One of the new types of leathers that’s being developed is actually made from fish skin. The manufacturers collect fish skin from seafood restaurants. i’m not sure how to get rid of the smell I’m assuming there’s a process for that

That Prada lippy is a great red…and NARS does great lip colors. Luv that knit hat! That metallic leather jacket is fire. Yes guuurrrl! You should mos def show a bit of skin while you can. That top was very cute on you. Wear those things now cause after kids and the pause(not sure u will kids) but it’s almost impossible to wear those things later in life….of course unless you are tiny like Ms.Grace.

Walmart’s Scoop & Free Assembly brands are fashionable with amazing quality. I have worn quite a few of their pieces & folks don’t believe me when I tell them it came from Walmart when they inquire. Only issue I have is that their popular items sell out quickly.
Carolyn I will never buy Donna Karen for that same reason. Two pairs of her expensive shoes failed. I was at work walking around leave a trail of black boot platform-both shoes. Her other sandal the heel collapsed on the corner.

I'm grabbing that jacket from Walmart right now for $21. That looks like it's a $100 jacket! These stores have really upped their game and have really decent quality stuff. That's why I never like to sleep on Walmart, TJ Maxx, Marshalls etc.
