Congratulations on all the silver, but the star find for us is the marked trade weight, in 50 years detecting I have never found a marked one, only with the weight marked on, so now Wendy helps me carry on detecting one of those is on our wish list. All the best from Wendy and Jon in Derbyshire
Thanks for viewing the video, yes this trade weight surprised me..normally over the years the soil is so compacted they take some cleaning... but this one all the soil brushed out quite easily, so i was suprised to be able to see the detail too, over the years iv'e found 3 or 4 i think...well if you keep going you will find them, take care, all the best... Hiya keith.. well it had me flustered for a bit, when i got it home i was straight on it with the foil..and it didn't react to the spit and foil.. but i persevered and it got there eventually (it didn't seem to be good Quality silver) deffo a lizzy sixpence or threepence though !...good to hear from you as per...all the best, GL&HH Gordon.

What a great outing with some great finds, shame the cut quarter is not date-able but well found along with other silver. did the shell shape turn out to be silver ? Well done and HH 😀👍 Tony
yes m8... the shell shaped piece was deffo silver (part of a Nurses Buckle from early 1800's according to an elderly Nurse friend of mine) thanks for your comments as usual, greatly appreciated... take care my friend GL&HH Gordon.

yes i know the feeling...we not getting any younger..but i will keep going until i feel i have to hang up the detector and the rest of my gear !
