I own a 113 year old book called the Scientific American Boy At School and would like to share the entire book with you. This book was published before 1923 so at the time of uploading is 100% public domain. This video has been uploaded in 4k so you can hopefully stop and read any pages you find interesting.
Topics include, building boats, building a clubhouse, building bridges, cryptography, an all sorts of projects. At the time of publishing this book was intended for kids, however this video is not intended for children. The activities in this book involve construction and other things that are potentially unsafe for children. This book is being presented as a piece of history and I take no responsibility for individuals who try to recreate some of these projects.
Nice little write up from ChatGPT
"The Scientific American Boy at School" is a book written by A. Russell Bond and published in 1909. The book is a part of the Scientific American Boy Series, which was a popular series of books for children in the early 20th century that focused on science, technology, and engineering.
    A. Russell Bond (1869-1936) was an American writer, editor, and inventor who is best known for his contributions to the field of science education. Born in New York City, Bond was educated at Columbia University and began his career as a journalist and editor for various magazines, including Popular Mechanics and Scientific American. He later worked as an inventor, holding patents for several inventions related to the electrical and automotive industries.
Bond is best known, however, for his work as an author of popular science books for children. In addition to the "Scientific American Boy" series, which included titles such as "The Scientific American Boy" and "The Scientific American Boy or The Camp at Willow Clump Island", Bond wrote a number of other books on science and technology, as well as works of fiction and poetry. His books were known for their accessible and engaging style, and many of them became popular classroom texts in schools across the United States.
