I drove a truck and I was going through Louisville Kentucky one night, northbound on 65 and the Statler brothers bus passed me going to the corn patch ( Iowa ) I picked up a little speed and followed them to indy, the bus driver was very nice talking to truck drivers on the C.B. , I was thinking right here is the Statler brothers, they were in the Johnny cash band , they sang with Carl Perkins, it was just a moment in time I'll never forget
On the cross our Heavenly Father gave his only son to die for us his children, you,me and any who would believe 😇♥️ Jesus shead His blood and died so that we could you and I could live !!!
The best singing group our country has had the pleasure of listening too. I love all their music and luckily I was able to go to 2 concerts and have a meet and greet backstage, plus have Harold meet me in Yellowstone while I worked there. The thrill of my life !!!
Wonderful song, written by Don Reid. This song showcases all the individual voices of the Statlers, as well as their awesome harmony. Phil’s high baritone stands out especially in this song.
@@vivianchristensen7820 whenever they first started, the lead singer was a friend named Joe McDorman. He was with them from 1955-1961 before he left. After that, as you probably know, Harold’s little brother Don, 16 at the time, became the lead singer
The statlers are the greatest country and spiritual song group ever in the history of music they are just wonderful and they were all wonderful people and not afraid to express their belief in God.
In my opinion, the greatest quartet to have ever done it!
Tears thinking of how our Jesus suffered for us. Thank You Jesus for loving us..
Dear Jesus please forgive us for all the pain you suffered on the cross.. I love you Jesus 🙏❤️

Absolutely beautiful. True professionals. Hard to find a 4 part harmony quartet anymore with a true bass and tenor singer.
