    I saw this come over, and at first glance, I thought it was titled "How is your stable of bikes?" 😂

    I don’t know how it is for a lot of other people but for me I haven’t been able to experience other bikes and compare the nuances of each one. I own 2 bikes, one 2 stroke and one 4 stroke, each feel different. I have owned one other 2 stroke in the past and I got the opportunity to sit on that bike recently and it felt odd! It was set differently than the one I have now but didn’t notice how much until then. Most of the people I ride with usually don’t swap bikes around so I don’t get to know they are like and the ones I do ride are for short (5 minute) rides and even then I’m being so careful that I don’t pay attention to anything. I appreciate these videos that explain and detail the differences and lay out the pros and cons of a broad range of bikes!

    Kyle, would love to see you get a newer kdx200 (2006 was the last year) and do a review/comparison to the newer bikes. Also if you haven't ridden one you owe it to yourself to, the bike is a legend.

    Love Dirt Bikes and love your channel!! I'd like to support you as a patron to support you...One question, how can I learn more about your bike give-aways. Is this available to patron supporters only? Thanks Kyle!! I want to support you either way, but getting a chance at a new bike would be amazing too!!

    My 250fx is the most stable off road bike I've ever ridden....with suspension good enough for the motocross track or trail.
    Have not ridden the newest KTMs tho.

    @DirtBikeChannel I would love to see your thoughts on the Beta Xtrainer 300. I'm considering that bike and the Beta 200rr. Either way, I think it would be i interesting to hear your thoughts about the Xtrainer.

    What tires are you running. I’m not finding much selection in the 90/90-21 and would like to try something other than the AT81 that came on the bike. Thanks and keep up the great videos!

    My KTM 500 EXC is a bit TO stable lol, (like wrestling a stubborn bull getting it to turn). It got me by surprise first time I did a turn at a bit higher speed but I kind of like it as it suits my kind of riding (slow in turns and lazy riding in general). Overall the KTM 500 EXC is much more easy to ride even in the most technically difficult impossible places I would never ever dare to take my old Yamaha WR450 F . The Yamaha was horrible to ride slow with as it would stall all the time if you did not run up the rpm using clutch all the time, the KTM 500 have never ever stalled on me and it is also very easy to use the clutch on it if you want to go really really slow.

    I don't know how it felt riding it but I sure like the look of how it goes down the trail thru the camera. Engine sounds like it's not even working. I am an old Husky rider so I'm used to a lot of stability at any speed and how it pulled so easily on the bottom end. Yeah, there's days I wanted quick handling but not most of the time.

    Every bike is stable leaned against a tree.... Mine is even more stable because it's on a stand. Dampers level the stability playing field and reduce fatigue considerably....

      We've got a ton of them by us. Horses and horse trails LOL. I think they might get spooked if they're approached out of nowhere, by us single track riders in the woods though. The horses, I mean 😬
      I'm with you though. The single tracks are ususally less beat than the horse trails 👍 Thin red line ✌😎

      @joecooper1543 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Allison Hines I’d say a 230, they are great beginners bikes to transition on to a bigger bike like a 250 4t or 125 2t

    • @roberto3262
      @roberto3262 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honda's CRF150F is a good starter bike too. They're lighter and a little shorter than the 230. Which makes it easier to pick up and easier to reach the ground for sure footing on uneven ground. They have plenty of power and are fun for beginners, and seasoned riders to practice techniques on as well. It's sometimes easier to learn new things on a smaller less powerful bike.

    Are these bikes road registerable in Australia

  • @cokecruzb
    @cokecruzb 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi! I wonder... since I have a YZ250FX like you did... Do you feel the extra 50cc gives you noticeable more power? Enough for example to make a long and loose climb in third instead of having to switch to second? It’d be great to hear your opinion (or anyone’s that have own a 300 and a 250 4T)

    • @jonathoncatterson8901
      @jonathoncatterson8901 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Earlier videos he says the 250fx feels more powerful.

      What yesr is your 250fx. Try the keefer tune

    • @cokecruzb
      @cokecruzb 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jonathon Catterson Well, they say more “snappy”... but I wonder if that also means it can climb long and loose hills better than the Sherco 300. Most my friends ride KTM 350 and 99% of the times my FX keeps up perfectly, but in very loose and steep hills they have no trouble climbing in third and my engine can’t. I’ve tried different maps and get the same result... I wonder if the 300 is closer to the 350 in that sense...

    • @joecooper1543
      @joecooper1543 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From what I have heard the 250 is more of a faster speed bike and the 300 has better low down torque which is better for hill climbs and hard enduro
