You are welcome! Glad you liked it 😊Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P YES this method is used for new gen laptops, as the companies don't like people to be able to replace the parts easily, very rare laptop have a simple keyboard replacement design and all old laptop before 2015 were easy to replace just few screws and done. consumers are facing even worse to come in future, as the companies (brands) keep pushing on to the against "RIGHT TO REPAIR" and people don't defend the "right to repair" it will be GG if you have any question or request in the future feel free to ask me.

so much things needing to be removed just for ONE SINGLE KEYBOARD! Why laptop manufacturers really love complicating things. It's like Apple giving you a middle finger for opening the laptop (because they don't really want anyone to open it.)
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, its all because they want people to buy new laptops or use a brand service center (where they will milk you for all you got) , and they are against the right to repair and or service. it is sad because years ago keyboard replacement was just two screw and all done under 2min. now they go about how to make it impossible for them to service or replace it.
@@uFixTek you even have to have an iron station/soldering rod to press on the keyboard rivets. Something only the professional repair techs might have. Hobbyists who know laptop repair and disassembly without access to those tools are discouraged to do this. HP really intends to not allow laptop disassembly even for a part that's prone to wear and tear like keyboards.
Amazing vid, bro. Thank you. This is a nightmare to replace a simple laptop keyboard. Ridiculous.
