I’m taking applications for a new dive partner after this one, to apply go to -> www.diggingscience.com. And if you’d like, you can buy a shark tooth while you’re there. ;)
Don't choose me! you would be hiring Bert Kreisher X5!!! you'll be floating in the water totally naked absolutely dead of a multiple substances overdose none of which are lethal on their own but the mix... While I in the meantime would be fine! I'm in your collection room selling your fossils to the Chinese!! while smoking a tommy chong ''not a pipe'' filled with a strong Cannabisativa (eh, weed!!) and chugging 80 proof (now rare!) Ukrainian garlic vodka!! In this same period, your friend is nowhere to be found his house is empty and also, incidentally spontaneously caught on fire!!! he was found in your boat in Death Valley!!! The moral of this story... DON'T HIRE ME!!!
@@iHUNTdeadThings Hey Mike good to see you're still around too... Must be busy with work and all... You guys spoiled me posting videos all the time, and now once in a blue moon... lol Not fair guys, you got me addicted to your content, and your online stores... I bought most of your hemi's and glyptodont scute's... you're making go through withdrawals... I hope you and the family are doing well.
@@DiggingScience if I lived near you I would happily learn how to dive god knows id love to find some meg teeth or anything else that would be a dream come true
How this only has 12k views is a mystery to me, its like im with you there, so interesting to see such unique diving conditions and the thought process to find the spot! Impressive stuff! Love this channel.
Glad to see you guys posting again! I think it's absolutely hysterical that somebody thinks that you're going to take them to your hunting spots, where you find stuff that could sell for a pretty penny, and thinks you're going to take them out there for 50 bucks😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey guys, I just want to thank for your videos. I've learned a tremendous amount of knowledge from you two. Keep up the great work! PS, I'll be down in Florida soon, searching the Peace River for goodies, and my my new interest of agetized coral.
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, Megalodon skulls are very rare and fragile. They are made almost entirely of cartilage and don't typically mineralize.
@ I think it’s great to have a hobby, especially if you can make some money out of it. There’s also the chance you could strike it rich as well. I use to go metal detecting which I loved. I always hoped that I would strike it rich by finding gold or a big hoard. But one can always dream😂
I calculated and estimated how many Megalodon teeth are left. 1 Represents the years. 2. The rows of teeth. 3. The current year. 4. The approximately how many teeth the shark lost in a lifetime. 5. the distance of the entire Earth x pi. For global distribution? 23,000,000×276×2025×50000×24910 x 3.14 = Multiplying by 3.14 gives approximately 50,273,060,589,000,000,000,000,000 (or 5.03 × 10²² in scientific notation). That number is read as fifty sextillion, two hundred seventy-three quintillion, sixty quadrillion, five hundred eighty-nine trillion. possible teeth left globally from 23,000,000 to the present day! Cool collection!
A flat dental drillbit will flatten that oyster growth to just a thin layer of calcite it then might just crack off during the drying process if not then an abrasive with a course sponge will do the trick but be gentle all the time because the root of the shark tooth is softer.
I was rewatching some of ur videos last night literally hoping you would post another video soon and then I get a noti at work saying you had a new video lol. Excited to see what y'all find!
This might be a dumb question, but the barnacles on the fossils are they also fossils or are they modern? I ask becasue i thought you found them in fresh water and i dont have knowledge of barnacles being freshwater.
Beautiful teeth! I've always dreamt of diving the Pacific coasts off of Baja California but I've always been put off by the visibility! But man you guys see almost nothing down in that water in Florida! How do you get in that water when you can't even see past your arm? Don't you ever worry about bull sharks?
I love your stand alone content and your channel overall has quality entertainment AND information, but Joe just adds that extra saltiness. He could be in 100ft of water and still be dry. You lads are killing it out there. Massive respect and more than a little jealousy. ...no shipping to Australia :(
Joe does bring that extra "seasoning" to the hunt. Send me an email at info@diggingscience.com, if there is something you want, we can work out shipping.

Joe is pure gold in this video. Makes me think I should just keep cameras rolling the entire time we dive and use the beep feature 😂

You guys are hilarious. Thank you for bringing us along, and showing us all your beautiful finds. So many . Look forward to the next one

Thanks for sharing another fun, awesome adventure! Cool to see some of your cleaning process.

Hey Jonathon good to see you posting again! I hope Georgia is treating you well...
Thanks for checking in, and yes, Georgia is treating me well!
I collect fossils in the North East of England from the Jurassic. This is amazing.
Wow what a score!! ❤
Hey, Love the videos bro!
Can you do a video where you show off your favorite fossils in your collection?
outstanding content, well done.
If there’s teeth, I would’ve thought you might find a skull at some point. Love the video 👍👍
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, Megalodon skulls are very rare and fragile. They are made almost entirely of cartilage and don't typically mineralize.
@ who would think that a monster of a beast would have a fragile head😂👍👍
When he fell off the boat it had me rolling funniest thing ive seen in a long time lol
I'd love to visit you guys in Florida sometime and go hunting for fossils. 🤔
👀 Talk about super Scores Damn
I've bought from his shop its worth it 👍
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Awesome videos!
It must be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, with visibility like that.👍👍
It’s a lot of work, but we love the thrill of the hunt!

~~lmao @Joe popping his own mask 😂😂😂
LOL,while you are diving for sharkteeth I get a commercial for toothpaste😆
"That's where you take your date" 😂
I can't believe someone caught that.
The intro has me rolling! Lol

Incredible! ♥
Thanks Jonathon
where di u get the dive bags from. the mesh ones with the zip?
Use distilled vinegar it will take care of the white on the tooth

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the other videos and this one as well!
Would vinegar help clean them up?
This might be a dumb question, but the barnacles on the fossils are they also fossils or are they modern? I ask becasue i thought you found them in fresh water and i dont have knowledge of barnacles being freshwater.
Just a thought, but have you ever tried effedent?
That water is much deeper than I imagined.
Looks like the Cooper River.
Wow boys that water looks really nasty. It’s so dark and dingy had a heck do you see or feel anything in the darkness?😮😮😮😮😮
I use magic eraser on mine also. Works better than anything I have tried
in the Bucket List Discovery Fossil Hunting in Florida video Joe does say 50 bucks and ill take you here soi think thats were this person got the idea
He's more like a number two
I have teeth that has coral on them. Can't get it off soaking
Where Joe goes, he don’t need roads
Do you guys use a bottom machine to try and find the bottom your looking for?
Just bought a Megaloceros bone!! Yes!! 👍👍 😁
not sure what you do with all the whale vertebrae . but im sure people would buy it for craft purposes.
Very disappointed. Those coordinates were for a field in the middle of BFE Georgia.
You can never trust Joe.
With his laser focus and skills, it might be worth digging there. 😆
🙏👍💕❤💕❤👍👍

hi
Trust me, I know how much Joe snores.
Wait! Digested megalodon tooth? What the heck would be able to eat a megalodon shark?!?!?
For $50 , will you take me with you. Let me know.😊
Fake
Jealous much?
