Hi you two , loved the video as always, we are from Calder grove junction 39 so know the pub very well, yes we can relate to the motorway noise it never ends , we are just in the process of changing our motorhome but our new one is not available until march 23, looking forward to following your channel in the future and the great places that you visit, keep them coming .
Great video. I’m from Flockton and my wife is from Netherton (wakefield Netherton not the huddersfield Netherton)so know the area very well. We live near junction 39 a couple of miles away and nearly as close as the pub is to the carriageway, you do quickly get used to the noise as it’s just a constant hum, but certainly double glazing and bricks and mortar help with this. It makes it extra special though when we caravan in a lovely quiet location.
Binge-watching a lot of your older vlogs atm....just catching up....and i had to comment about Monkey Magic. Loved Monkey and Pigsy, a favourite in our house when we were kids. Slaw doesn't know what he missed😂 x
This brought back happy memories. We used to live in West Bretton just round the corner from the Sculpture Park. Lovely to hear your Yorkshire accents. Don’t hear many of those where I live now in the Netherlands
Yes will be noisy there, my last visit to Bretton was to see tho poppy’s from that bridge you crossed which looked like a poppy waterfall, 2014 i think for the 100th anniversary of the start of WW1, was awesome to see 👌👍
After watching for post at the post office 😂 I watched you not about silver screens and ordered one which came yesterday . I have recently transitioned from a caravan to Auto trail Scout. Only had 5 nights so far in 10 weeks , but was horrified at the amount of condensation on the screen . So should be ok now. I found your post quite funny and entertaining . I'm only a few miles from post office and have done that walk a year or so back . Thanks
Blimey that is a while ago, Monkey was definitely a program Slaw, get it searched on youtube. We will have to give this one a go, some fantastic and questionable sculptures and still a place we haven't visited yet. Thanks for taking us with you guys a great vlog.
Yes I remember the original monkey on TV. If u have netflix there's the new adventures of monkey on there I think is made in Australia. Keep up the good vlogs and stay happy but crazy . XX
Not sure about a tree in Monkey. Are you confusing it with The Singing Ringing Tree? Another very weird dubbed children’s TV show from the 1970’s. I’m surprised we didn’t have nightmares 😱
@@TheSlawsAdventures that’s exactly what I was thinking of thanks. I do remember Monkey though. Singing Ringing Tree was around at the same time. Very weird.
This must of been a while ago guys …..in a t-shirt …proper hard in yorkshire ,been freezing for what seems an age now …just a question …we’re you’s two from
Yes I remember monkey... very badly dubbed from Japanese to English.... did you know they have remade it....? Using Australian actors... it is almost as strange as the original. Monkey with an OZ accent...... ? ? ? As per the original it is that bad... it is Good.
