Förbaskat bra och pedagogisk undervisningsvideo Mikko. Även för en jazz/el-fiolspelare 🎻som mig. Jag hittar alltid någon ny infallsvinkel i dina videos, även tillämpbart på mitt fiolspel. Jag kollar faktiskt mer på gitarrister än violinister för att försöka expandera vyerna i mitt spelsätt, så har det alltid varit för mig. Tycker det ger mig mer.

Great video! I often try to learn these melodies with multiple fingerings, because it helps develop flexibility with those phrases in actual soloing later on.

Au Privave does indeed mean nothing in French, but maybe it meant something to Parker. I play Billy's Bounce in the same position as you, but Au Privave around the tenth fret on the higher strings. But practising them all in different registers is a must as you say
likely he meant to say au revoir, but was misheard and it stuck.
