I had a problem with Octavia MK2 immobilizer.. I could lock and unlock my car but thats all.. I removed battery but I still had a problem.. then I found in car manual this detail about key synchronisation.I press unlock and then lock button,like ok I can try at least.. and i was amazed.. that procedure turned off immo light and my car started without any problem.
so this has nothing to do with programming the transponder I suppose? Because I recieved only one key with my car and I would like to program a new one.

Does it work if key is part folded in at right angles? Q3. Other TH-cam videos show another step of turning the ignition on... Is that the answer?

If it is not flashing, the battery has to be replaced. If you replaced the battery inside and it is still not flashing, try re-seating the battery tighter.

What did you do in the lock with the key your video cuts that part off?
Will it work with a key from Seat Ibiza V from 2018? It has the same key, so probably the same sync mechanism.

One of my 2019 gti key fobs just worked when i replaced the battery the other one didnt though it had to be reprogramed. Kinda weird..
