    It's companies like this that keep the Great in Great Britain, wonderful story, wonderful product, wonderful recognition, just goes to show it's not all doom and gloom.
    Another great vid, one of many.

      100% agree, David is talented and enjoyed the camera, besides his expertise within boats industry, he is able to explain with an enormous simplicity. He must keep developing his videos, maybe evolve and create a Boat Broker Institute.

      Yes...there was a really positive vibe throughout the workforce. They start work relatively early but also finish around 4pm so that they have a good work/life balance. I was talking to one of the owners who was telling me how important this is to them. Great people...great company!

    Glad you finally mentioned Princess. Shame they still store the tenders outside and use a winch. Great video and information as always.

    I wish I could afford a yacht that could house one of these tenders- they really have the reputation of being the absolute best.

    A great change of pace! Your breath and knowledge of the entire MegaYacht world is endless. You are leaving no stone upturned, and in turn sharing with us your knowledge! Each piece of the puzzle, David can discuss in a breadth and depth unheard of in the industry would be my best guess. Next I'm looking forward to ovens! :)

    Very nice. Well done. I have been researching William's and do have a question maybe you can answer. Why don't they make a small diesel tender? It would seem to me that they would sell a ton of them to sailboat owners and trawler owners. They already have diesel onboard and this would eliminate having to store gasoline let alone the reduced maintenance and no prop to ruin on a rock or reef. Have a great day!

    • @jnicksnewstart
      @jnicksnewstart 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ron Hunter. I just took a look at their website and, in fact, they do make a diesel jet. How cool is that?

    • @Big.Ron1
      @Big.Ron1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jnicksnewstart Hi Jack. Yes they make a diesel jet but they are some of the larger in their lineup. What I'm talking about is a small one suitable for a 50 foot sailboat. Something that could be hoisted up on the transom mounted davits specifically for lifting tenders out for passagemaking. Something like the small mini jets only diesel powered. Much over 3 meters and the tenders are too big and heavy for a couple or the boat it's self to hoist out of the water safely. Most of the 50-55ft boats I've looked at have a 2 to 3 meter tender. Some you just row. So I was just thinking a small jet tender would be cool. No more coral or rock damaged prop.

    Apart from the form factor, making these easier to fit inside a garage, how do jet tenders compare with outboard versions? Speed, efficiency, fuel use etc...? Is there a video that goes through that comparison?

  • @johnwood2596

    Wonderful information about about tenders .How about other systems on yachts could be interesting also ?

    Another excellent video. I would have liked to know approximate prices (or performance figures). I may be alone in thinking this, but... I would prefer to have a proper sized lazerette AND accommodations for the Engineer (bed/bath/tool room and office)... over a tender storage garage.... and of course an amazing crane. Thanks for the video.

    Berinsfield is one side of this former wartime airfield at Mount Farm, you can see the curve of the taxiway in your drone footage of the snow, whilst the test lake is on the other side.
    Photo reconnaissance missions where flown from here during the build up to D-day, as well as, to photograph the V-2 rocket launch sites in Northern Germany.

    Should do a disclaimer/disclousre when its AD. It really dilutes the message when we don't know if your advice is influenced by a bag of cash. Transparency is an important part of trust.

    Amazing that a land locked company becomes the worlds biggest maker of jet tenders. It's a shame they didn't carry on making those wooden run a bouts though. They could have put Riva to shame.

    Snow, a four letter word 😂. Williams tenders IMO are the best. Unfortunately even a 565 @ 8 ft. wide, the driver's seat is too narrow for 2 people comfortably. Just saying...
