    A summary of the vid:
ps: I worked hard to summarize but it of course isn't perfect so it's better to watch the whole thing so that you understand more
*IMPORTANT POINT: When you're greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it, or return it equally.
    -Questions to ask ourselves:
1-What does Allah expect from me as woman?
2-Are you THE muslim woman He wants you to be? The like of Fatima/Khadija (RA) etc.
    Answer: we're not.
    3-Why?What's the difference?
(قالوا شغلتنا اموالنا و اهلونا) : They say we are busy with our children and wealth
They had all this but they didn't allow it to move them away from their purpose (worshiping Allah). REFOCUS
*Th definition of Imam Ibn Taymiyyah of worship: Everything Allah loves and is pleased with internally and externally (words and actions). Then you are the servant of Allah (you don't have to be a scholar to be the servant of Allah)
4-Is Allah happy with me? with the way I dress/speak/respond etc.
*If you want to be like Fatima (RA) etc.work on your relationship with Allah.
    -What Allah wants from me:
    1-Lower your gaze
    2-Don't show your beauty
3-What do you listen to? Is it pleasing Allah?
    4-What do you say?
    5-Have hayaa (bashfulness-humbleness)
6-Be (قانتة): a person who is always in a state of worship
-Explanation of ayah 33:35 (Surah Al -Ahzab):
1-(ان المسلمين والمسلمات): A muslim is someone who submit to the will of Allah
2-(والمؤمنين والمؤمنات): Believe in the 6 pillars but also, believe that what befall you will never miss you and what miss you will never befall you - when you wish for your sisters what you wish for yourself - when your neighbour is safe because you're his/her neighbour.
3-(والقانتين والقانتات): The one who is spiritually connected to Allah, submitting to Allah, asking Allah.
4-(والصادقين والصادقات): Those who are truthful (in what they say + in what they do).
5-(والصابرين والصابرات): Those who are patient.
6-(والخاشعين والخاشعات): When you're in you salah like that sahabi, if there is a fire in the masjid he didn't move.
7-(والصائمين والصائمات): Those who are fasting (not only in Ramadan).
8-(والحافظين فروجهم والحافظات): Those who protect their private part (having hayaa in what you dress - the way you speak - the way you interact with the other gender).
9-(والذاكرين الله كثيراً والذاكرات): Those who remember Allah A LOT.
*(اللهم اجعلني مباركة اينما كنت): O Allah make me blessed wherever I am
If you found this beneficial please don't forget me in your duaa😊

Alhumdulillah my beautiful sister! I’m a Brooklyn NY African American revert.. as heartbreaking as it is for me to say this there are so many sisters that do not reciprocate my Salaams. It’s very hurtful that there is so much racism in Islam in this day & time. Why is it that some not all but too many sisters from the Eastern countries do not respond appropriately when given Salaams. I will not stop & will continue to show love to all my sisters. May Allah (swt) soften their hearts.

I am not, I lack the patience. Thats the word that came to mind.
I 5x pray, tajjud, fast monday and thursday and did dawah but the biggest struggle though was biazrrely being patient with my child, husband and being a housewife. As I was soo used to working and dawah, not spending time at home and being at service to the family, not seeking permission from anyone. I had to eat humble pie.
But alhamdullah, the past 7 years of marriage has made me closer Allah swt, spending time alone with Allah swt, has made me dive deep in my soul, spending time working on cleaning my soul with dhikr, working on my faults. I think Allah swt extracted me out of public life, to work on myself, before this I did not focus on my soul and faults, I was too busy helping others in deen which is good but I did not look in the mirror. When I looked into myself, I found I lacked patience, I had alittle temper and tantrums and I was stubborn. When I targeted these bad qualities, it was a relief. My life and relationships improved and my life became easier. Alhamdullah, my relationship with Allah swt improved soo much and the strongest its ever been.

Beautiful Lecure as always from Dr Yunus. I liked the end when she spoke about her friend who passed away. Before they intubated her she was worried she didn’t pray Fajr & Dr. Yunus told her to do Tayammum which she did then prayed. She passed away when she got intubated.
Dr. Yunus reminded us that her friend remembers Salat on her deathbed when so many are healthy & don’t even wake up from sleep to pray Fajr.
This really hit me hard as I have been missing my Fajr prayers these past few days.

    🤲🏻🌹💫
PS: One correction though about Bibi Ayesha (RA)… when she said she used to narrate/ narrate AHadith to men ,
I’d like to remind all that She did so behind a veil & a curtain , meaning : not showing her face … for the exception of her later going to fight against Hazrat Ali ( RA) leading another group of Muslims, but then after this war, showing great remorse for having done so as an elected leader in the opposition.
Please be more specific when it comes to emphasizing the details involved in certain womanly related matters. JZK ! 💫
