Why Indian education system bucks is just because it doesn't train us for the contemporary arts and skills instead of mesmerizing the outdated things. We don't learn how to make or earn money at soo school level even after +2 level. Sadly, I'm the victim of this too. :)

Possible sources in future includes interests on short term credits ( to increase free cash flow of shops). Promotions based on purchasing power and behaviour of shopkeeper. (eg competitor's cosmetic soap company will pay for ad and other economies of scopes on the products) it's an 100$ billion industry just getting 1% makes it a billion $ company. (Discount invoicing credit rates are 2-20% depending on the distributor's credibility rather than invoicing they are betting on shopkeepers credibility woth their own credibility score just like a credit card for shopkeeper with negligible interest rate)

Hi Shubham, they manage their costs using the funds they've raised from investors. They will likely continue to do that for the foreseeable future. Maybe, if they want to limit their burn, they'll offer a premium, paid version of their service for merchants who want to take their business to the next level? Just an idea. Subhash and I didn't discuss this when I was visiting Dukaan. -Caleb
