I like the lanterns being semi see through. They light up really nice.
I bet they glow under black light
@@dHuntersReviews I will have to try blacklights in the near future.
I really wish they gave him a flight stand INSTEAD of those cards and card holder ........
Should’ve given him one in addition like Superman.
Why does Todd make the batteries look like lantern constructs?
The world may never know.
Maybe it’s glowing energy
But it’s a very good question
That cape should work for a Mr Miracle figure, maybe a two pack with Barda as the Booster/Beetle two pack
It would work for that.
great review as always! i really want this guy but i will hold out and hope i can get him cheaper than retail.
Good luck
I don’t want to risk it
the art work is alex ross and its the cover for jsa #77 day of vengeance
Ah nice
But isn’t the figure based off the golden age?
@dHuntersReviews it is, but the head sculpt reminds me more of earth 2 Alan
Google Alan Scott and you will find several pictures of him with his ring on his right hand. In fact, I believe that's how he started. The ring on his left hand is something that was adapted later on. Either way, doesn't really bother me.
Yes, but it was predominantly on his left hand
I imagine the artists that put it on his right hand didn’t know better
Is there a variant of this guy? I ask because I went to my local gamestop and when I looked at the figure he had the outside of his right arm and right side of his face painted with a soft green. I was thinking of picking him up but he was $28.
Yes there is a platinum chase variant
@@dHuntersReviews Appreciate the reply. I might head back to that gamestop to pick him up this week. Keep the reviews coming👌🏼
Did you get him?
Looks awesome this figure but I don't justify the price, hope we get more accessories in the second wave, overall I really like this figure.
I agree 100%
Wave 2 is exactly the same…
I've got mine and there is alot of green on mine like green on the arm, hands, head etc I don't think it ment to look like that and I'm not happy with it unless I use it as a effect but still
Show me? Was it the platinum chase variant?
6:10 Can't help but laugh at that head every time I see it. It's the iconic Superman Shrek version
It’s ridiculous
At least it gets a good laugh
Great at parties
Again I have a platinum chaser Superman
Are you willing to sell him?
@@dHuntersReviews I am looking to trade for a spirit of splinter from neca
I don’t have one
I’d rather just buy it if possible
@@dHuntersReviews how about a platinum Mr freeze with Kenner deco?
I have him, but I don’t buy extras and I don’t want to give him up…
Alan is a cool figure but there's really no justification for these being "Collectors Edition" figures and a higher price point when they could have just been a regular basic wave. If they wanted to include something to justify the extra cost then how about a 2nd head of Alan with an eye patch that he wore following "52"
I agree, they should be standard releases.
The reasoning for the right handed ring is dread lantern in the comic was right handed, and they just reused the hand from him
I know this, that’s why I complained about it.
@@dHuntersReviews which was warranted, just explainin for those who might not know
