As a child, I saw a lot of WAM 1 and various other varieties and also saw the WAP 4 in the 90's when the headlight was centre mounted in the front face which was altogether, a new type of loco.But my current favourite is WAP 5 or P5 and its brother WAP 7 or P7 and also its green goods train variant WAP9. But I am astonished you have not mentioned about WAG 12 which is currently the most powerful locomotive in India.

I guessed right the 1 Position loco. Wap 7. Logic :- As you said there are all goods loco in the top 3 and at that time only 3 locos were left Wap 5-7&9. So I thought that Wap 9 would be 1st but it came 2nd so the only loco left was Wap 7.😁

WAG-7. Apne ek baat galat bol diya. WAG-7 ke Tiger face units (24501-24700) hi BHEL ne banaya. Baki sab CLW ne. Aap check kar sakte hai.
