@@SharkeysFloralGreenhouses you realise that watering your plants in No1 draws oxygen into the soil and benefits the root system? This is well established science . Also all the feeding roots are at the bottom of the pot.
I just joined your site From Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 waiting to hear if you grow roses 🌹 I have David Austin roses and always looking for good solid advice , my hanging basket I follow all that you say and they are excellent Thanks and loving your U Tube information
I’ve watched all your videos. Thank you for all the info. I’m getting ready to order fertilizer from you. I live in the hot, dry, windy Texas panhandle. Do all your instructions still pertain to my weather conditions?
We haven't done a video on that yet, but overall would be cautious on self-watering containers. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. We are old school and just like to properly water.
Burning the leaves from water when hot out is a false piece of advice. It doesn't make any difference. Our greenhouses can get up to 135 degrees and the water on the foliage never affects the plants.

Thank you. I'm guilty of watering my hanging baskets until it pours out the bottom. Everytime... Gotta mend my ways. Thanks man.
Glad you're learning. Thank you for watching!

Yes, still applies to your area. Yes there is always adjusting for weather, just like we do in our own greenhouses.
New to your channel. You may have addressed this somewhere else. What is your opinion of self-watering containers? Thanks for all your advice.

Would you advise to not water all over the leaves and flowers when the sun is beating down on the plant? Would that burn the plant, possibly?

How often and how much do you water geraniums?
Check daily, watering is the key to learn. Our video is here: th-cam.com/video/gb1Ca_agXBg/w-d-xo.html
