    JazakaLlahu khayr.
Thanks for this series; it helps to put some things in context and evaluate our choices because of the consequences they may bring.
May Allah forgive them all and grant us success.

It’s so embarrassing to call yourself salafi while only following people who lived in the last 250 years 🤦🏼‍♂️

Wow, I didn't think you would actually reply to this, I just commented to help the video gain more views from the youtube algorithm, but also, I really don't understand how you keep us addicted, Everytime I thought this is my last video and I'm off to sleep, but you made me curious to watch the next, until I finished the whole series, And I didn't even know you before, you have a very captivating language.@@islamichistorypodcast

How does the 1805 Saudi conquest of Hejaz compare to the 1920s one?
And did any Hejazi tribes retain Saudi loyalties after 120 years?

The Saudis of the early 1800's were not supported by the British. At least, not officially. Therefore, the Ottomans (really the Egyptians led by Ibrahim Pasha) were able to defeat the Saudis.
The Saudis of the 1920's were backed by the British and neither the Ottomans nor the Egyptians were strong enough to stop them. The Ottomans had been defeated in WWI and the Egyptians were essentially British subjects.
As for the tribes, that I'm not certain of. Will have to do more research on that.
I do know the descendants of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab remained loyal to the Saudis throughout all these ups and downs.

Before the British backed revolt weren't there a few revolts by the wahabis?
Didn't the wahabis invaded Mecca and executed the Sharif entire bloodline ?
Please shed some light if you can

when you say destroy the grave of Ibn Abbass radia Lahu anhumaa , do you mean they dig out the grave or destroyed the block building of the grave ? two different things. Sure they didn't dig out the grave.

Very informative. Really foreshadows the current state of the ummah today. Can't help but wonder if Ali bin Hussain was compromised by the Saudis, what with giving up the Hijaz so effortlessly. I'm also very baffled at the ikhwan desecrating the grave of ibn Abbas (radi'Allah 'anhu), as he is revered by both shia and sunni muslims alike.

They believed it would lead to grave-worship.

Abu al-Hayyaj reported: Ali ibn Abi Talib said to me, “Shall I not send you upon the mission with which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent me? Do not leave a graven image but that you efface it, and do not leave a built over grave but that you level it.”
