PENTECOST RIVER HUNTING BIG BARRAMUNDI

- Heading back to the Pentecost River where I was chased out from a storm 3 weeks ago and then exploring new creeks to chase Big Barramundi. Fist Cast and hooked a beauty and then had to leave as the tide was running out and getting shallow. I head back the next day to see if I can catch more Meter + Barrs.

I can say I really thought I wasn’t going to get it back that’s for sure . Good lesson learnt don’t trust other people casting lures at the drone 🤦♂️😂🤣.

Dave the Raptor lure copperhead gets the job done again. Big lure, big fish. You never tire of it. She tried to brick you but you applied the pressure and nailed it. I have been up your way years ago and enjoyed the Five Rivers lookout, walked on the wobbly plastic jetty, went to one arm point and swam on the ocean side and did a cruise in Lake Argyle. The barbecue boat satisfied the hunger. Did the tourist thing. Next time it will be Barra fishing.🙂🎣👌👍
Hey Chris that awesome you have traveled around and seen Wyndham first hand, I know there’s not much to look at but the country and fishing is amazing. I really hope you tick the box off on the Barra fishing doesn’t meter you go to fish they are a bloody good fish to catch and like putting a show. Just quietly really good to eat 😁.

good set of shoulders on that $1.06 and well done Dave for giving her a good swim and a rest before letting her go. I've seen a few occasions where they haven't been rested/revived enough only to end up either Croc or shark bait so hats off to you. Not many people can say they caught a drone with a lure.

OWGOODZAT ? great fishing mate on the Raptors. Why not add a Raptor Ghost Fizzbait in there we got a 119 on one and a heap more after that in the 80-90's . Love the Raptor Lures.
