I think it would be creative and musically refreshing if Miss LaBelle's musical director orchestrates a completely different show and arrangement for her. I'd like to see Miss LaBelle open up with a little bit of "You'll Never Walk Alone" and go into "Somewhere Over the rainbow". But while harmonizing with the background vocalists, as the harmonies were on the Oprah Winfrey show live in Chicago in the 1990s. I'd also like to see Miss LaBelle turn Love Need and Want You, If Only You Knew, Somebody Loves You Baby into a medley. So that they keys aren't so difficult for her. On My Own, Lady Marmalade can be broken down vocally among her strongest background singers while she sings her parts. I love the way she sings I Want To Know What Love Is, when she closes the show, but I'd like to see Miss LaBelle and her background singers recreate the iconic Motown at the Apollo moment. That would be magical ✨️. Patti LaBelle is the Queen of Our Hearts, Forever, Regardless ❤

Great ideas I spoke with John during the pandemic while he’s getting ready for his own album and Patti hiring a new director she’s getting to know the new guy . Also patti isn’t singing the way she use too and her energy level is different now . True the songs u mentioned can be arranged in lower key/notes her backgrounds are already doing most of the singing so that Patti can keep her strength through out her show if u count she’s only doing about 7/ 8 song add traveling and rest in between for her voice/& age . I was told they are keeping her at a comfortable place . Patti still picks her line up and song choice as well . Patti knows her instrument and John said that she has said in convos that she has nunthin to prove only to make her fans happy and to be able to keep on keeping on because life is to short . She’s one of our last of that era and we have to treasure her . And jus appreciate Whts she’s giving us now nun of us live forever and for 70+yrs her instrument/voice is still hitting those head voice notes . Not so much chest voice because her power has changed with time remember she was still singing high in her 60s look up “when u been blessed “ choir around her this was probably the last time she belted out her chest voice . I know I’m a patti fan and been to 6 of her concerts in my life time and was at her filming of somebody loves u baby album in New York gosh she was is still is a power house

To be 79 years young, legend Ms. Patti Labelle sounds good eventhough her voice has significantly changed. However- she is solidly hitting those mezzo- soprano notes with substainabilty, colour, and quality tonality. [ I think her new musical director her lowered some of her songs and styled them to her current music epoch. Physically and mentally it takes a lot to sing the way she does. One can hear that she defintely employs vocal techniques to produced quality singing. ]
