Man, running really isn't that hard. Just watching a little bit of this video helped me understand how it works. Now I only need to know how to get the gaze properly to fully understand the encounter when I need to tell my team if it's darkness refuge or the light one.
Tbh its generally just learning the pattern its one of 2 options almost everytime and then you can also control the light and dark refuge if you have the defenders of light run with the dark for light refuge and defender of dark run with light for dark refuge and just pick the 2nd orb in for both light and dark after so you dont need to hunt for where the refuge is
quick question: so when you shoot nezzys shoulders and its either light or dark for the wipe mechanic, is it saying for what side you have to be on for refuge and it doesnt matter where you get it from or is it the runner(or someone else) has to get the buff from which side the shoulder flashed and has to activate that refuge
So when you shoot his shoulders he'll either glow yellow (dark refuge) or blue (light refuge) for the wipe mechanic, for us we normally pick the first one you activate for light or dark as its easiest and dont need to figure out where to get refuge, if you can do all orbs fast enough it wont hit the wipe at all as well. Another tip you can do is you can have the defender for left pick up dark buff and the defender for right pick up light buff and they can activate both the light and dark refuges, just need to be careful once you pick up the refuge cause if you get one and go over the other it deactivates the second one, hope that helps!
It rotates so generally once you've activated the first 3, then the main orb moves up to one of those 3, generally use orb 2 as the safety for the wipe mechanic, and it can then move to any of those 3 and back to the original spot, tends to follow a pattern tbh, if you watch this and then the master run, or even the all titan run, same pattern for dark side typically, hope this helps!
Well I'm glad its helpful, only major difference is when you do dps you can't stand on the pad as you get pervading darkness and there is also a tormentor that spawns in but im sure there's a bit further back from the last light node on a branch that you can do dps from without being affected by pervading darkness and the tormentor
I only run the raid with my titan, I dont play as the other characters so id have been helping folk in the clan or fireteam do the other clears for a chance at the raid exotic

how come you didnt get a weapon, thats what was weird. they only gave you the 5 raid banners
