Adhesive wheel weight all the way! It's more universal, more precise & flexible, and more common in here. I don't want to scratch or dent my rims with the knock-on one

Yes just need to make sure the tech working cares about process and follows it by prepping the surface properly and not just scrape or blast dirt off and call it done.

my tires have knock on and stick on the same tire (both types). Is that normal?

Yes, some rims do not have a flange on the outboard side, therefore require stick on weights. You can have inboard knock on weights and outboard stick on weights.

It’s because wheels come out of the factory not perfect.
