    Once again, you have inspired me to try a new pattern - the PaperCut Solar Tee. I bought some new fabric yesterday and just received my pattern today… very excited to make this. I hope it turns out as beautiful as yours! Thank you 😊

    Hi Cath. I love your makes and you have great taste in pairing fabric to patterns. When you're talking about a pattern could you include whether its beginner friendly, or advanced beginner, intermediate, advanced, etc? I know I'd find that super helpful. Thank you!!

    Hi Cath! Thank you for sharing.
    I love all your versions of your summer pattern choices.I can't believe you're self-taught. All your makes look so professionally made. You can pass them off as RTW garments.
    Don't underestimate your skills.
    I've been trying to sew garments (on and off) for ten years now and find it very difficult to comprehend pattern instructions - even those that come with images. I don't know why it's such a struggle for me.
    I get inspired to keep sewing after watching your videos because each time you finish a garment you mention how easy it was to sew, but when I give it a go - it turns into a fail😞
    Anyway, all that just to say you're very talented and love all your makes!!

      Hi there, thank you so much for your lovely comment! 😊 oh no I’m sorry to hear you’ve had some sewing fails, it can be so frustrating when you spend lots of time on a project and it doesn’t turn out how you’d hoped x

    I hope you hack the etty into a dress and then show us how to do it. Loved your makes and your selection of patterns. I appreciate that you included some free ones, too. Thank you.

      I would love to do a hack of the Etty into a dress at some point, when I do I’ll vlog/blog about it 😊👍 In the meantime I’ve written a couple of vlog posts about hacking the Ogden cami into a dress, it would be a very similar process so I’ll link in case you fancy a read of them:

    Great vlog Cath thank you 😊 I’m not a massive fan of the Etty - the finishing isn’t great and i prefer the Ogden, but I do love a faux dress and have made the Ogden and Sabina 👏🏼👏🏼 x

    I’ve your videos Cath. You speak so clearly, thank you!
    I wanted to ask about your Sabina skirt - you shortened it by 1.25” - do you think that is because of your longer torso & waistline? I also have a dropped waistline

    • @madebycathcraft
      @madebycathcraft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, I’m glad you find my speech clear, that’s really good to know! Yes I think that my longer torso is probably is why I needed to shorten my Sabina skirt 😊

    Do you use a serger or just a sewing machine? I am motivated to get into apparel and just curious as all your projects all look so good!

    • @madebycathcraft
      @madebycathcraft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I use a serger to finish edges but I mostly use the sewing machine to sew all the seams 😊
