Basit Ali, Kamran Akmal and Muhammad Waseem accused selection committee Wahab Riaz, Abdur Razaq, Muhammad Yousaf over selection of Mohammad Amir as he was unable to perform in PSL 2024. They accused that he should play domestic cricket first. Amir performance was not up to mark against series with New Zealand. Mohammad Amir lashes out all critics and says he has performed in PSL 2024 and he is selected on his performance.

I believe the main issue is “bowling”. The bowlers used to be legends in the likes of Wasim, Waqar, Akhtar… but now the Pakistani bowlers are just bowling machine and nothing else… Batting was never a dependable skill for Pakistan, except around couple of batters!
