Younis Khan requests Pakistani Batters to increase Run Rate

Younis Khan, the captain who led Pakistan to T20 World Cup victory, believes that the team's top batsmen Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman increase their scoring pace in the middle overs of T20I matches.
While speaking to media, Younis emphasized the significance of sustaining a run rate of 8 to 9 runs per over in the middle phase after the powerplay.
"If a team scores 200 runs, they will be in a position to save the match, a score of 170 is not sufficient anymore," Younis said.
"Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Rizwan will have to go to the next gear. Nowadays, more runs can be scored at a rapid pace, it is the responsibility of the players to play aggressively," he further added.
Younis also underlined the importance of players adapting to bat in any position and bowlers being prepared to enter the game at any point.
"The captain will have to think out of the box, and players will also have to come out of their comfort zones together. Every player should assist the captain; do not leave everything on one person because a plan cannot be made on just one person," he concluded.
It is worth noting that Pakistan is set to play their first T20I against Ireland on Friday. The remaining two games will be played Sunday and Tuesday, before the team heads for a series of four T20Is against England. - กีฬา

The problem lies in using bowling options by the Captain. Using Shadab for 4 overs against Ireland was wrong. Ifthekhar or even Saim Ayub could have been tried. Baber seems to have some grudge against Ifftti as he seldom uses him as bowler although he delivers whenever he gets opportunity.

Babar and rizwan are not natural openers.. natural openers like fakhar and saim should open... Babar and rizwan should search other places in batting order.. this is only solution
Every one talking about issue of pak middle order batting but since Asia Cup biggest pak issue is in middle order bowling specialy quality spinners, look Asia cup, WC. we lost grip in middle overs because our so called front line spinners failed to take wickets & stop runs..Shadab & Nawaz were pathetic spinners where other countries spinners were taking wickets & winning matches.

Saim, Sharjeel, Fakhar, Azam, Asif Ali, Khushdil Shah, Haider Ali, Iftikhar, Sahibzada Farhan? They will win you the match single handedly but once in a decade and will be liability for the rest of the decade. Did you see the same combination in Asian games, where they lost to Afghanistan and lost to Bangladesh for third place. Shahid Afridi played 400 ODIs as batsman and most of the time as opener with an embarrassing average of 23 having just one score of fifty against Australia in entire career......and look at who's talking.

Babar and Rizwan are not suitable for T20 cricket. Their tuk tuk slow strike rate has let Pakistan down and will continue to embarrass and humiliate Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup...

Pakistan's spin bowling attack is very weak. Shadab is useless. Abrar is too undercooked in T20 cricket. Other spinners are not even worth mentioning.
