    That's why you need wooden plants and orchards that suckup the salinity as the table water column rises.

      Water table. Use gypsum and it sulphur so that trees can utilise water in saline soils. Another method is to use saltbush to drop salinity and it's not overnight fix

    To treat saline soil, mound the soil and or add gypsum into the soil.

    Mam i need some information about my soil now my soil is totally saline and surface of soil is formed white so how can I reduce it and how to enhance the fertility of soil....

      To reduce the salinity of your soil you've first to leach salts from it. in general you can add 1/3 of water to water irrigation, add organic matter, the more you bring the more your texture will be good.
      Finally you need to work with tolerants varieties.

    so Alfalfa and barley decrease the salinity concentration in the soil ?

    • @dr.vaheed6558
      @dr.vaheed6558 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Barley is more salt-tolerant, but I think the concept here is to see the impact of salinity on plant growth, which is visible from patchy growth

    Alphalfa is Lucerne, that's not Lucerne but Patterson's curse! That's will grow anywhere and be worse trying to rid the place of it!

    • @Shayne-pq1rs
      @Shayne-pq1rs ปีที่แล้ว

      Well the first lot was! Why does she keep referring to it as alphalfa? It's only called alphalfa when it's a sprout! When it has grown to flowering stage it's Lucerne as in Lucerne hay!
