Thanks Doctor Very useful information My lands got pH=8, and I get different Ec from different labs and they use different units; Water 2610 microS/cm, Soil: 20 to 30 dS/m. Appreciate if you can advise on : 1- is there an easy way to measure Ec by ourselves? 2- you mentioned increasing the quantity of irrigation water, if irrigation water has high sodium chloride like our is 21 &18 respectively and SAR=18, Carbonate =2.72 & Bicarbonate=7.1meq/l- then in this case would extra water not add more sodium to the soil? I was thinking to use Gypsum, but use as little water as possible, for irrigation - limit Na input 3- another guidance some experts give is to add 10 H2SO4 with irrigation water to neutralize the Na ?
Thank you so much for the CC, I really appreciate it.
