Don't mind me, I'm 97% mousse now after this video lmao. Make sure to check the description of the video for links on things talked about in the video! Also, I got the keyword right this time.
May i know what's your occupation. I just get envious for people who gets to do my dream job/interest! I'm in Malaysia but i've dreamt for a looooong time to travel to Japan especially to Tokyo Disneyland + DisneySea. Maybe i could get an idea on what to work as in Japan from you if i ever get to live in Japan \(^.^)/
Shine! I really miss Tokyo Disney Sea, and this video really cheered me up. A little sad to see the muted decorations, but it just makes me confident that the 25th will be a banger! Thanks for always making these videos, Chris!
I am so happy for you, that you finally got a ticket to get into the park. I do like how they made multiple photo ops around the Aquasphere! The Duffy merch was really great! I remember buying the custom ornament for both DisneySEA and Disneyland and I am hoping to be able to get one before the 20th anniversary is over. I am glad you got one for yourself. TDR merch is so wonderful and so varied. Let's hope the borders reopen soon. A subdued 20th Anniversary is better than what they have going on for Florida's 50th! (Shine)
Considering all the "BLING" WDW has put into their 50th, the understated is more effective in Disney Sea because they have kept the buildings as they are. So the displays FIT and don't overshadow the park. Even the Merch is cute and pretty with the high AWWWW factor Japan is renowned for. The packaging of the treats amazes me. They are always so pretty. The keep sake plates and cups are a great idea. The whole elegance of the theme just SHINEs. Thank you for eating so much mousse for us.
Thank you, Michael! I’d keep an eye on the border restrictions, we still don’t know when they’re gonna reopen, sadly. tdrexplorer.com/when-will-japan-reopen/
@@tdrexplorer Thank you for the heads up! Since I have visited 4 of the 6 Disney parks world wide I hope that the powers that be, will smile a pound me in 2022!
Thank you for showing us the customized charms. I've always wonder about it, because they're very pricey. They are way bigger and better quality than I've thought!
You sound like a lot of us for the WDW 50th wondering about what could have been if the world hadn't stopped last year. We still don't have afternoon parades & are finally getting distanced meet & greets next month for some locations. Thanks for sharing all the mousses & adorable cups & plates! Wish we had those collectibles here too 🤤. Shine on, Chris!
SHINE, SHINE, SHINE, SHINE YOUR WAY~ lol anyway i know it's not disney but that just pops in my head just now. Love how they always give the commemorative plates and cups in almost everything. And so thoughtful too. I just can't believe how they can come up with this kinds of stuff. Just amazing. Absolutely amazing... Love the video😁
Wow u r so lucky! U got the 20th anniv souvenir plate and mug! My shopper went to disneysea on 1st december and she said the don’t sell it anymore.. really envy u now..
Time for Chris to shine. Thanks for taking us to TDS for the Anniversary. Hoping to get there before it ends & really want to get the merch and crystal sphere. Too bad they didn't go all out like they usually do for the Anniversary year, but it couldn't be helped.
Shine! (which also happens to be my favorite Babymetal song). great video...so many desserts featured. Sounds like Standby Line is similar to Boarding Groups here in the U.S. parks?
Shine ✨- I prefer the term “standby passes” over “boarding groups .” It’s more accurate to what you’re getting. Chris this video was wonderful 👏! Dale is so adorable 🥰. I don’t know how people don’t go into kawaii shock over there with all this cuteness. I hope the celebration expands as the situation improves over there. Thank you for the magical coverage 🙏 😊
Shine! This celebration might have some mixed marketing due to the last year and a half but also focus could be on WDW’s 50th. I’m excited to return, I have a flight booked for next February, who knows if I’ll make it out, but keep making these videos so I can experience it vicariously!
Tokyo Disney Resort is owned and operated by OLC and not Disney (it’s licensed), so everything here is done independently of places like WDW and DLR. They have their own budget and everything. Our parks aren’t at full capacity right now (they were around 5-10k last I checked as things changed this month again), so I get why they didn’t wanna have a full on celebration with a fraction of guests allowed into the Park. Hopefully we see some more stuff as things change!
Here's an idea, you said you have too many drawstring bags. Stash a couple in your backpack with some face towels. So, when you buy cups and plates, you can wrap a towel around them and put them in the drawstring bag to keep them safe. You can even store them this way in a box.
thanks for the info😆 we’re going tomorrow and the forecast is heavy rain🥲 so my main purpose is to eat and shop‼️ i will definitely have the berry drink u introduced ❣️ we would really love to go to disneyland and disneysea with u😆 i always go with my son👍 any chance u are going to the halloween costume version next week???
Shine! We'll see when we eventually get around over there 😐 My trip was postponed from 2020 to 2021, but those pesky borders ... Was supposed to leave today for my Japan trip 😥 PS: buy the TDR Explorer guide. It has realy useful info! Especially because I'm a vegetarian and vegetarian options are not the strong suit of the parks (Paris is my "home" park and it's sometimes even rediculous to a point they indicate a salad in a children's meal is vegetarain, but no full vegetarian options 🙄).
Hi Chris. I FINALLY got a ticket for TDS today. But my celebrations were short lived because upon checking the website you now need a standby pass for nearly all the main attractions (journey, tower of terror, soarin etc etc). In this video you mention that soarin standby passes were gone 20 minutes after park entry !!! Does this mean that its likely that if i get in and get a standby pass for journey for example, then i cant get another standby pass for anything else until i've gone on journey (i guess by that time all standby passes would be long gone) ? Which means you'll probably end up being able to go on one of the rides that need a standby pass and that's it right ? If this is the case i guess i ll hold onto it and change the date and hope that these restrictions are removed sometime in the next yr while my tickets are still valid. Sorry for the essay.
It is refreshing to see honest reviews about the food! I go to Disney Sea all the time and if the beef is tough, it is tough. Japanese reviewers just say OSISHI no matter what they get 😅
So would you say all the special desserts for the most part are strawberry and berry? I’m allergic and I’m hoping to come near the end of celebration but I guess I’ll have to ignore all the desserts then
That’s the theme this year it seems. I recommend asking the Cast Members to make sure about what’s inside them. They’re good at ensuring you’re taken care of.
I was today years old when I learned that 1400 yen is only $9.41 USD. BRB moving to Japan lol you can’t get stuff of that quality for that little in the US parks anymore
Not trying to be a gloomy Gus… But it’s curious how Disney has time during the pandemic to order merchandise to sale for the 20th Anniversary But they can’t find money to put into the Disney Park and it’s 20th Anniversary decorations. Thanks for the cheerful visit 🧡 You did a great job!!
The official TDR website has information on what attractions you’re able to do. The refer to it as “Barrier free.” I reference that whenever I’m asked questions about it :)
Well hopefully the 25th anniversary is a lot more grand than this 😭 covid really messed with everything, but maybe they also calmed things down since Disneyworld Orlando is having their 50th?
