Tell me what snack food you want me to try in an upcoming video, Explorers! Also, if you aren't already make sure to follow me on Instagram. instagram.com/tdrexplorer/
I vote for three of the Winnie the Pooh snacks. The ones at 5:40 , the ones in a box in the shape of Pooh’s head at 35:30 , and one labeled Maple Sand cookies not in your video. I always regret not buying any of those all the times I visited the resort.
We actually happend to be in the store and saw you filming this and we wanted to just say thank you but didn't want to interrupt. Watching your videos helped us plan our trip and we had an amazing time so Thank you!
Please do one for Disney SEA, would love to see duffy and friends omiyage🤩 my favorites are the beauty and the beast round tin and book tin, the mickey waffles, and chocolate crunch tins!
The bag with the plastic honey clip thing looks like you could totally use it again for some other treats or bread. All of the Pooh bear cookies are so adorable.
Oh! That Minnie Mouse cookie pot is SO CUTE because you'd have the pot left after you eat the cookies! It might be a "choux" pastry cookie if that helps your translation. :) I like any of them that come in a tin/case/something you can keep after you eat the treats. The Butter Cookie tin (I love Donald Duck), and that Beauty and the Beast "book" tin! I'm also a big fan of anything that shows the characters in kimonos or other regional fashion.
THANK YOU! I knew someone out there would know. Japanese uses foreigners words a lot for food, which makes sense, and it's not always English words (again makes sense). So I'm reading it in Japanese and trying to sound it out but I have no idea what it means cause it's not from an English word haha. Hopefully that makes sense.
I’ve had the Mickey waffle cookie and the Oswald chocolate cookie sandwich. They’re almost too adorable for me to eat♥️ I love the navy blue tin box and the princess cardboard box. The design and the assorted sweets in them are perfect for gifts.
I'm always impressed with the packaging, everything is so cute and well thought out! If I had the space I would probably collect every tin you showed hahaha I'd say my top three are the ramen, the tea chocolates (matcha, hojicha set) and the first set of rice crackers.
All of their おみやげ (omiyage) items are adorable! I truly miss visiting Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea… 😢 Looks like I’ll need to wait until 2022 to travel. Thank you Chris for creating your very informative videos! I’ll be looking forward to your followers too 3 picks. ♥️
I cannot wait until I'm able to visit Japan again and hit the parks either, Chris! But in the meantime, I'd just live vicariously through your videos. I love your food videos so I was super excited to check this video out! It was really difficult to just choose 3 snacks here (I'd watch you try them all! xD) but here are my picks: the tomato snacks, the Enchanted tale of Beauty and the Beast assorted cookies and the churro snack.
Definitely need to try the woody sausages so that I don’t have to! Haha. I can’t wait to go back to Tokyo Disney when the borders open again! In 2019 I bought the chocolate crunch cookies (the chocolate and royal milk tea flavoured ones!). I absolutely love the tin it came in!
13:29 I need to know how those chocolates taste 17:09 gET the assortment! that looks so fun to eat lol 19:09 you need that in your household, also taste test pls 20:26 THAT needs a taste test for sure 22:07 DO IT 25:06 those meats look so gross you need to get them lol 35:49 the cakes 36:45 the ramen youre gonna need to invest in these snacks lol, loved the video!
the top 3 I would love you to try is 1) the ramen cups 2) Mr. Potato snacks 3) Japanese tea flavor chocolate. I have to throw a 4th one the churro sticks. I love how the beauty and the beast book tin looks. I can't wait to go in 2023
I think that is quite amazing how far you have come to where understanding packaging comes quite easy :) that's pretty cool tbh, I would personally get the ones that are more solid because once you are done its a good memory or reminder of the gift and can use it for something else :) I cannot wait to finally be there!
Wow you weren’t kidding! So many to choose from and some amazing packages! I am voting for two for you to try The chocolate covered rusk , and the potato snacks.
Loved this video! Both times I’ve been to TDR I’ve gotten those potato head chips and they are so good! You have to try them. I feel like the cookies/chocolate can be a bit basic, so I’d also love to see you try some of the more unique stuff like the ramen with that cute Pluto lid holder. Thanks for making all this fantastic content & loved your cute shoes!!
Ooh, the Tea chocolate sounds unique. I want to see your impressions on those! I had to take a break to grab some dark chocolate halfway through the video 🤣 Gotta try the Woody Sausage too, that should be good video content 🤣🤣
There are soooo many! Would love to see you try one of the baymax mochi/ ome of the japanese traditional snacks, and also the rose cookie! Mug tour next?? 😂😂 get those squats in
I’m not sure if you’ve already tried them, but my top faves are 1. Potatohead chips, 2. Chocolate covered rusk, 3. Mickey waffle cookies. I hope we see a follow up snacking video. 👻
Those tea flavored chocolates sound amazing (both the Japanese matcha, genmaitcha, hojicha chocos and the Royal Milk Tea chocos)! Out of curiosity, are there any guided tour companies that offer tours of Tokyo Disney/Disney Sea? Only just discovered your wonderful channel and now I'm addicted!
Pooh Bear choco filled cookies (in the honey hunt tin), the Minnie senbei (in the pink vinyl bag), and the assorted choco crunch (in the cute mini grocery tote).
I’ve been looking for a food souvenir video for ages! Thanks so much for this awesome video and my kids and I really really appreciate all the physical effort (squatting lol) you went through for this. Ps: we couldn’t pick our top 3 but we thought maybe a cookie one, a chocolate one and a rice cracker one?
I love Beauty and the Beast so those were my favorite. Hoping to be able to come to TDR in a few years when the 2nd part of the Fantasyland expansion opens!
I'd say the ones I'd want to try are the Pooh cookies with the honeypot on his stomach, the waffle cookies, and one of the chocolate crunch ( I'm not sure which kind). I can understand wanting to keep the tins because I bought some peach-flavored hard candies from a local Asian supermarket once for a movie outing with one of my siblings and I kept the tin because it had Mickey and Minnie on it in an adorable sort of chibi style. Apparently, it's from a line called "Disney Cuties", because that came up when I searched for 'chibi mickey and minnie'.
Hello. Thanks for your videos. It gives to feeling to travel even if Japanese frontiers are still closed. To answer your question about "chouquette", it's French pastry a bit like "croque en bouche" or "choice à la creme" but empty/unfilled and instead of melted caramel on top you usually have pieces of sugar. Also the real definition of korokke comes from Portuguese who teached Japanese people have to make fried "croquette"... now you know it all ;) Keep making videos so when we are able to travel again we can make a haul with every items we saw!
We hope to visit Tokyo Disneyland in a couple of years so your videos have been extremely helpful. Thank you so much for all the information and detail you put into your videos!
That Beauty and the Beast book shaped tin is gorgeous Would like to see you try the tea flavoured chocolates, some of the sembei and those odd sausages! Thanks for your videos. Hopefully we can all join you in Japan and the TDR parks soon
Love this video. Thank you. It’s great to see them in detail as we don’t often have that time to scan them all when on holidays or surrounded by so many people. We never knew what that number was … now we know - it’s how many in the box.
Decided to watch this one and recognized the last three choco crunch tins. A Japanese relative sent some to us and me and my sisters took the tins when they were empty (they used it for pens/small items and I use mine to store snacks). XD The crunch are delicious (I like the choco and strawberry ones).
If rabbi was still alive he would go nuts over the cookies he would buy every single one. He even passed away before finishing his oreo on his excersise bike in 1983 on July 19th
I think you should try the coffee latte with almonds chocolates, the Baymax marshmallow and the traditional cup noodle (I want that Pluto cup noodle fastener :)
Chocolate crunch Mickey treats container, looked like it could be used as a travel cup. Does the lid just lift of or is it a screw top? The tomato soup snacks look a bit underwhelming compared to the packaging, but tomato and basil would be a nice taste. You need to try what ever was in that pretty textured box, just so you get to keep the box. 😂 you deserve something nice after all those squats.
Don't think you'd wanna use that container as a cup haha. I'm not sure if it was a twist or not, I didn't pay attention to that. I'm curious about these tomato snacks!
i could only dream of stuff like this being at disneyland. when i was there last i was trying to find something exactly like this to take back to my coworkers and couldn't find anything except for laffy taffies and chocolate covered pretzels!! america is seriously behind
I really want to know if there is a way to buy some of these omiyage, or any Tokyo Disney merch, online. So much of it is so cute! I'm a big Disney buff and really want to make a trip out there. It sucks that, as an AFAB person, traveling abroad alone is not the best idea...
Try the tea chocolate flavors that you weren’t familiar with. Also the ramen. When you try them, can you give tips how to quickly identify items containing peanuts ? I’ve been researching but not sure and don’t want to give my kid something that could hurt her. Our trip is far away and I’m trying learn basic Japanese but any tips would help! Love the videos!
You'd be best asking a Cast Member for that, unless you're confident in being able to read the packaging in the back (it's spelled ピーナッツ). I don't know of a quick way to tell if things have peanuts or not in them, unfortunately.
I'm surprised to see that there's this much omiyage at that time. When I first went to Tokyo Disney, it was in winter 2021, so a few months after this, and there were like, maybe 4 choices of omiyage and they weren't great ( the generic Donald tin from 41:04 in the video, some bags of sembei and that was it). When I returned in spring and there was this level of omiyage choice, I always chalked it up to them being low on the omiyage coming off the heels of the 2020 pandemic, but seeing your video and all this omiyage present only about 5 months before my trip makes me wonder why they dropped all that omiyage for that time. Maybe I just came when they swapped out all the omiyage? Seems like weird timing though since it was right after Christmas and one of the busiest times of the year

The Potato Snacks, the assorted honey sweets, and the ramen.
Cookies assortment and the tea chocolates.
They all looks delicious!!!!! and thanks 🙏 for sharing this with us!
Thank you for the video! My son had a medical emergency and we’ve been stuck in the Hospital. Watching your video gave us an escape.
Ahhhh I hope he's ok🙏
I hope they're doing OK!
Get well soon
We actually happend to be in the store and saw you filming this and we wanted to just say thank you but didn't want to interrupt. Watching your videos helped us plan our trip and we had an amazing time so Thank you!
Please do one for Disney SEA, would love to see duffy and friends omiyage🤩 my favorites are the beauty and the beast round tin and book tin, the mickey waffles, and chocolate crunch tins!
Pooh’s honey hunt! The first tin is so adorable.
That tin caught me by surprise, genuinely! I haven't seen it before.

By looking at the cookie, I’d agree with the choux translation
I think you should definitely try the woody sausages, the cup ramen and the churro snacks!!
lol those sausages scare me.
Try the ramen, Mickey waffles, and the Chinese tea chocolate! Relaxing video as always. Thanks so much!
I'm always impressed with the packaging, everything is so cute and well thought out! If I had the space I would probably collect every tin you showed hahaha
I'd say my top three are the ramen, the tea chocolates (matcha, hojicha set) and the first set of rice crackers.

Ooh you should do more omiyage videos, they're so fun to look at. Try the waffle cookies, japanese tea chocolates, and the tomato snacks!
Thank you for watching and voting!
At 3:48 シューケット looks and sounds like french pastry "chouquette". It's made of choux pastry and covered with little sugar rocks.
13:29 I need to know how those chocolates taste
17:09 gET the assortment! that looks so fun to eat lol
19:09 you need that in your household, also taste test pls
20:26 THAT needs a taste test for sure
22:07 DO IT
25:06 those meats look so gross you need to get them lol
35:49 the cakes
36:45 the ramen
youre gonna need to invest in these snacks lol, loved the video!
Mom and I loved the Beauty and the beast rose tea thingy! It was gorgeous and I need it for myself.
Haha, I can't believe it didn't dawn on me immediately that it would have been rose tea.
the top 3 I would love you to try is 1) the ramen cups 2) Mr. Potato snacks 3) Japanese tea flavor chocolate. I have to throw a 4th one the churro sticks. I love how the beauty and the beast book tin looks. I can't wait to go in 2023
I miss chocolate crunch so much! It's so good. The dedication and squats in this video is amazing Chris. We appreciate you for that.
I loved all of them! But i would say my top 3 are probably the mickey mouse waffle cookies, the tea flavored chocolates, and the disney pluto ramen!
I think that is quite amazing how far you have come to where understanding packaging comes quite easy :) that's pretty cool tbh, I would personally get the ones that are more solid because once you are done its a good memory or reminder of the gift and can use it for something else :) I cannot wait to finally be there!
The Pooh Bear cookies are so adorable!!
I agree!
I'd love to know more about the tea chocolate! The packaging is GORGEOUS and the flavours sound so unique
Yeah, I do too haha.
Wow you weren’t kidding! So many to choose from and some amazing packages! I am voting for two for you to try The chocolate covered rusk , and the potato snacks.
The tea chocolates and waffle cookies sound amazing.
A lot are voting for these tea chocolates, so I think that's gonna be one I'll try

Thank you, loved seeing all the different Omiyage!
The chocolate covered rusks are sooooo yummy! I miss tokyo disney parks, I miss Japan😭
I like the cookie jar one and the one with the apple candy because after you finish eating those treats, you can use them for storage.
Yes!
@@tdrexplorer I think the apple one would make a nice change purse.
This is so cool. There are so many things to chose from.
This is such a perfect video 💗😋 i’m already planning my budget to visit and buy gifts based on your videos 🙌💗

Please try the chocolates at 13:30! I would love all of them, matcha, genmaicha, hojicha and trying wakocha for the first time!
Genmaicha is green tea with roasted rice it’s so good!
so fun to see all the omiyage (learned a new word) :)
Decided to watch this one and recognized the last three choco crunch tins. A Japanese relative sent some to us and me and my sisters took the tins when they were empty (they used it for pens/small items and I use mine to store snacks). XD The crunch are delicious (I like the choco and strawberry ones).
My favorites : the first one , the pooh chilling and the beauty and the beast book
Oh, the ramen! They look fun but what does it taste like is the real question!

Please try the sausages, the mr potato head chips and ramen!!
Would love to see the waffle cookies, tomato snacks, and hojicha chocolates!
Pls review the instant noodles, chips & the item that is special/best seller in Tokyo Disneyland.
If rabbi was still alive he would go nuts over the cookies he would buy every single one. He even passed away before finishing his oreo on his excersise bike in 1983 on July 19th

the ramen is interesting. I wonder if its above typical top ramen or if its all just cute packaging.
I would love to see you try that Toy Story Salami pleaseeee 😭
You rock!
Haha, thank you Luke! You rock too!
@@tdrexplorer no problem 😌 😉 Tokyo Disneyland explorer you rock!

I would like you to try Mickey waffle cookies and Tea Chocolates. 🌈😋
japanese tea chocolates!!! mr potato head chips!!
I wish I could shop there right now. So many goodies I want 😢
The shuketto looks like a choux pastry. Maybe it's Japanese for chouxquette? 😁Like choux and croquette?
I'm surprised to see that there's this much omiyage at that time. When I first went to Tokyo Disney, it was in winter 2021, so a few months after this, and there were like, maybe 4 choices of omiyage and they weren't great ( the generic Donald tin from 41:04 in the video, some bags of sembei and that was it). You should do chip and dale candy (definitely) Beaty and the beast tea and wine the Pooh
Hi TDR Explorer! Do you know if Tokyo Disney is accepting vacation packages?
